Ocean visible from balcony. Walk to town stores and restaurants. Beach across the street. Very comfortable room with fully equipped kitchen. Very clean and nicely decorated. Staff very friendly.

I have stayed in several resorts in Montauk over the years. The Beachcomber far surpasses all of them. The studio that we stayed in was gorgeous. Bed was extremely comfortable. Great view of the ocean. Kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. Extremely clean and very cozy. Beachcomber is the only resort we will ever stay at again!

Excellent lodging in Montauk
An amazing place to enjoy the beaches and the town of Montauk. Walking distance to town, with a private beach right across the street. Having a kitchen and living area made the space particularly homey. The bed was passable, but the comfort of the mattresses could be improved upon.

Had a wonderful time. Easy check in. The room was very comfortable. Only complaint was the side of the fridge looked grungy - a coat of paint would do wonders. Hope to return.

The resort/motel is very nice. Close to the beach and a short drive to town and golf course. Only problem I had was the room location that I thought I was getting. I wanted a room with a direct view of the ocean and just a short walk across the street to the beach - when I checked in the room was up a hill and a drive to the beach. The lady at the check in resolved this but be careful when using internet based reservation systems they are not always synced with the motel.

This was my first stay at this property. The staff here are delightful, very attentive and friendly! The room was clean and well-appointed, and they delivered on the ocean view and no carpet room I requested. Room for improvement: The AC we had was terribly loud, since it was cooler at night we just switched to fan. Very low water pressure, I ended up not using the shower and filling a small bucket to pour over my body repeatedly. Also, the 3rd person to shower gets only cold water and the wifi is slow. Still, it's close to town and a GREAT deal for families. Very clean and we felt safe! Verdict, we would absolutely go back!

Beachcomber was a 5 star resort!! Clean …across from Atlantic Ocean…walkable to the town of Montauk…Room had a beautiful ocean view w a balcony. Full kitchen and super comply bed!! Loved it all!! Thank you everyone!

This was a chance booking and I have never been happier in my entire life to stay somewhere. A TikTok coworker and I decided to work from Montauk and booked random accommodations. Who knew random accommodations would turn into a deep obsession with a new hotel!!!!! We were obsessed. The proximity to town and the beach was unparalleled. The rooms were huge. The tennis court??! You're kidding. The staff was some of the kindest humans I've met at a resort. I am counting down the days until I can come visit again!!!! I will be coming back as often as my bank account will allow!

The rooms were ok. Clean, roomy, but very minimalistic. I wouldn't say I liked the cleaning small. Not suitable for a hotel room. My main problem was the air conditioning noise. I don't know how're the other rooms but in my room, I couldn't sleep with the air on good thing the night were cooler, and I could sleep with the windows open

The online pictures made it seem like it was a little bigger than what we walked into. With that said, everything was newer. The sofa bed was like most sofa beds not very comfortable.Overall the view, the heated pool and sauna made it worth while as did the price.

Property was well maintained, office staff was helpful and room was clean. Overall comfort was just ok, as the bed felt old and uncomfortable and the rest of the room was dated. Convenience of the beach was great and the beach was the best part of the stay.

This was our 2nd stay at the Beachcomber and we have had another wonderful extended weekend full of memories. The staff, rooms, grounds, views and accessibility make this the best place to stay if you want to be close enough to the town but just outside of the action to relax and take it slow.

This is a great property that’s walking distance to the west end of downtown Montauk. Clean, quiet and great heated pool. Rooms have lovely views of the ocean. Had my morning coffee and evening cocktail on the taking taking in the ocean!

Gorgeous view and beautifully appointed room!
Fantastic stay! Highly recommend! Gorgeous view and lovely updated room! Great kitchen and bathroom. Very clean and beautifully decorated throughout. There was a hair dryer which wasn’t mentioned in the description and a Keurig in our room (pics only show traditional coffee maker) which were great bonuses. The view was fantastic from the upstairs front building where we were located. The beach is just steps across the road and it is absolutely gorgeous. We did not cook in, but everything you need is in the kitchen. The only issues we saw were a very badly worn and unusable baking pan in the oven, the toilet ran about every 10 minutes and the bedroom blinds did not turn. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax in Montauk!

I liked the property a lot, except for the fact the 1 bed (and pullout sofa) option only has a wall AC in the living room area. So if you're sleeping in the bedroom, you don't get any air conditioning.

Place was great and overall pretty clean staff was friendly. The floors in the room We stayed in could of been cleaner feet were dirty after coming out of shower but not a huge negative.

We stayed in a studio over the holiday weekend. It was very spacious, clean and comfortable for 3 adults. Very convinient location, just a few minutes walk to the beach. I would definetely stay there again.
