We loved this place, and will come back again....the room was spacious, the bed king-size, and the pool was lovely. When we checked in, the gentleman behind the desk showed us exactly where our room was, which, otherwise, would have been difficult to find....since it was raining, he even provided us an umbrella! Cleaning services cleaned the room well every day! See you in March!

This is a great option for a well priced hotel only a three minute walk to the beach. The pool is lovely and well-kept, the room and bath are well appointed, and it is great that they have towels, chairs, and umbrellas for the beach. It is also an easy walk to the jitney bus stop and lots of great dining options. This is my third year of coming to the Aqualina in September for a girls getaway. It is especially nice to come soon after Labor Day, when the prices are lower, the weather is still great, and the crowds are gone. The second floor rooms with balconies are an especially good value, because they are much quieter than the ground floor rooms.

We have stayed here 3 or 4 times. We keep coming back year after year to Aqualina. We love the king balcony room, the quiet, closeness to the beach and town. We can park the car and walk throughout town. We will continue to stay here when visiting Montauk.

We stayed one night and really enjoyed the newly renovated hotel. The pool was clean and so were all the areas. Very quiet and peaceful grounds, which was exactly what we needed. Will definitely recommend & would love to return.

Sebastian was fantastic. My girlfriend an I stayed here for two nights for our anniversary and come checkout day we wanted to use the beautiful weather and the beach to the full advantage...Sebastian was kind enough to let us use the chairs and an umbrella for the afternoon as well as the showers once we hit the road. It's our second time staying here and I'm sure we'll be back!

The location of the Aqualina is very good and conveniently close to the beach, town and restaurants. Initial interaction with front desk (Sebastian) was pleasant and welcoming. The room size is accommodating to two people as stated on website and the bathroom is a nice size. Upon checking in to our room, the dampness and humidity were apparent. The AC was not cooling adequately and the bathroom shower floor was not draining water correctly leaving it with standing water. The toilet was leaking from the cistern. We brought this to the attention of Joe at the front desk after the first night and he said that it would be looked at. Needless to say, nothing was done. In addition, we asked for our room to be restocked with fresh towels, etc. and this was not done "until 3pm" as he stated. $720 for two nights is considered reasonable for Montauk however, if a guest states that there are issues in the room, take the time to look at it and pretend to care about the services offered. We left by 9am morning of check out leaving a note with a staff member to ask Joe to give me a call because there was a credit card charge for a date that we did not stay at this inn...I am still awaiting the call.

We are very surprised to hear this. Our maintenance person did inspect the toilet and there were no visible leaks, he did however notice condensation on the tank due to the cold water and high humidity in Montauk. We would have been more than willing to inspect the shower drain and AC unit had you made our staff aware of these issues. Daily cleaning and restocking of towels etc. are offered between 9am and 3pm, you were restocked by the stated time. The additional charge you mentioned pertains to the County Occupancy tax as was explained to you over the phone already. Regards, Staff at the Aqualina

Absolute Nightmare
Worst hotel experience ever. Check-in time was 3 and we arrived a few hours early and he told us we couldn't check-in, which is fine. But then when we went around 2:30 (because he said check back) he was giving all sorts of arrivals their keys, but not us. He waited until exactly 3:00 to give us the key, and it was like the worst room in the hotel, right near street and stairs, so someone could hope off the stairs into our balcony and into room, no privacy. And then there was a nightclub across the street with loud pounding music, so loud we didn't sleep at all. And it went on til 4:00 a.m. We tried calling the front desk multiple times but no one answered. There was people outside our door partying all night, big scary looking guys we didn't want to confront. We had booked 2 nights and wanted to check out early the next day, but he already charged us and wouldn't give us a refund. When we said we tried to call him, he said we should have called the police to complain about the noise.
