Property is well situated up the hill from downtown Queenstown. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We met several interesting fellow travelers at wine time. It was fabulous place to land and recharge after touring from north to south.

Very clean spacious room with a lovely small balcony with views of the gondola. Nice decor and lots of unexpected freebies. Free soft drinks, crisps, popcorn, and chocolate covered marshmallow fish.
There is a happy hour between 5 and 6 with everything free including beers and wine, plus a platter of snacks including cold meats, cheeses, olives, sun-dried tomato, pickles, bread, cashew nuts, peanuts, and an assortment of confectionery.
We were made very welcome at check-in and everything was explained to us.
There is a car parking charge of $20, which is well worth it, but there are only 5 spaces available. On street parking is available near the hotel, but we didn't see a free space during our 2 night stay.
