Nice and comfortable stay
We had a comfortable stay between flying in and out of the airport. We arranged for transfers from/to the airport with the owner, which cost 20€ each way. The owner picked us up himself in a lovely clean Mercedes van, and was on time and super friendly. There is not much around the accommodation (5 minute walk to a restaurant and 15 minute walk to a large supermarket in the opposite direction). Would recommend this place for one night between flights.

Property was conveniently located near Malpensa airport. Host picked us up & dropped off at the airport and was prompt. Also recommend a restaurant within a 5 minute walk that was very good. Room was clean, comfortable and furnished well. Worked out great if flying into Malpensa.

Very nice room, with big wooden beams a lovely feature. Bed was very comfortable, and the linen was also very good quality. Staff was very welcoming, and showed us round the accommodation. Only downside was the surrounding area, in that there wasn't much to do, but that was our fault for not checking the area properly. All in all, lovely place to stay for a night or two.

A treat!
Our last evening and morning in Milan (in Ferno, near Malpensa airport) was a treat! The three young people (siblings) who run Il Gelsomino made our stay comfortable and delightful. One brother picked us up at the airport within a short time after we called, carried our bags and told us about a nearby restaurant for dinner(one of the best meals we had in Italy!) In the morning, another brother had laid out a very generous breakfast for us, and visited with us for a bit. Then his sister took us to the airport. All three spoke very good English. What we thought would be just an over night between flights turned out to be a lovely time.

It is only about 12 minutes from the airport and the place is very very nice and host woke up at 5:00am to take me to airport. I will stay again!

A very comfortable B& B.
Very comfortable 2 night stay at this family run B&B. The place is new, the room is was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. We were picked up at the airport for a fee and given detailed explanation on how to get to the Ferno Train station to get to Milan. Highly recommend this place to stay.

They picked us up at the train station in Ferno and drove us to the airport at 4:30 am for a reasonable service charge. The room was clean and beautiful. They even provided us with a breakfast at that early morning departure time. THANK YOU

I couldn't be there, they offer me a shuttle to the place, they asked me to call when I was at the airport and never answered, I even asked a local person to make the call for me and again no answer ,went to ferno station and no taxi service available, i realy think that they were very dishonest, they charged me for the full reservations

hi you didn't directly call me for getting you in; you call before the check in time with another person telephone so i wasn't able to contact you in any way and instead of coming here you decided to take a taxi to a different place (so you finded one at the ferno station); it's not my fault if you cannot find me; my bnb cannot change position from where it is. also you tried to check in earlier then the check in tme without telling that to me in advice; next time try to reach my place instead of searching for another place; because in 8 years of activity you are the only one who didn't show up because of the location. greeting Il Gelsomino

Very clean, modern. Plenty of room. Available kitchen/fridge. Enjoyed the breakfast. Was hot but AC cooled the room in 20 min. Airport shuttle was 20 euro extra but very convenient. Huge bathroom!

Good stop over at reasonable rate
Operators allowed us in ahead of time which was appreciated. Home is nice and clean across from a school. Safe area, short walk to San Marion’s Pizzeria (best on our trip), nice sized room with a small balcony. Ride to airport €15 which was great.

The property is amazing in terms of the finish and location, close to the train station to Milano. The breakfast was below par and it's a shame, cuz otherwise, I would have rated it excellent...

hi i'm sorry you didn't appreciate the shuttle service, considering that you call in the middle of the night for anticipating it from 4.30 a.m. to 3.40 a.m., and you did a bad review only for that; i only suggest you to check to the info that the various hotel or B&B write on the website before booking, because for my B&B is well specified that the shuttle service isn't free.

Nice place near Milan (MXP) airport
We found this place near Milan airport with a reasonable price. The host is nice enough to ask if we need a shuttle service from the airport. In fact, this place is closer to train station than to airport and they were nice to pick us up. The room is very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to stay in the nearby area.

The B&B was very modern and clean. The service was excellent - we had airport transfer and when we arrived the owners carried our suitcases in for us. They were extremely helpful and caring. We were greeted upon our arrival and shown to our room. The owners took the time to explain the temperature control system for our room and offered suggestions for restaurants for dinner. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We also had a kitchenette to use for water, coffee or drinks and a large communal living space. The property was in a small town which we found very quaint. We had a yummy breakfast and loved that the airport was only about a 10 minute drive. This was definitely a great value and we would sty there again. The owners were very gracious.

I ended up not staying there as I was looking for a hotel and not b&b and didn't realize that it wasn't really a hotel. The owners were very nice and they kindly drove me to the nearby hotel. If you are traveling as a group and need a comfortable place to stay close to the airport this is a good option.

Spacious guesthouse next to the Malpensa airport
We had an early flight out of Malpensa airport, and Milan traffic/public transport is reknown for being difficult so we saved ourself a lot of stress by choosing to stay our last night at Il Gelsomino near the airport. This place was very well priced and Im very glad we chose stay here.

Everything was perfect. I had problem with my GPS to find the exact address but they came after me and guided me to the their house. They were extremely kind in explaining everything and offering me tea/coffee or juice. The only problem of this place was that although there is one huge and beautiful bathroom for each bedroom but it is not on suit and each time one goes in and out of the bedroom to use the toilet should lock one door and open the other. In their place if they do not want to go through the dazzle of making a door between the room and the bathroom which has a high cost, I would have changed the lock of the doors and use one with code/number or cards. That would make the staying perfect. I highly recommend this place. Thank you.

Great place close to Malpensa
We stayed here only one night since it is only a 10 minute drive to Malpensa airport. The owners were courteous and helpful. The room was comfortable and well cared-for. I would gladly stay here again.

This place was beautiful, we only stayed one night before flying out of Malpensa, but we wish we could have stayed longer! The service was the best we received in Italy, and the room with beautiful, with skylights in the bedroom and bathroom! We will definitely stay here again, and we're thinking of flying back through Milan just because of how pleasant this stay was!

Don't waste your time
Previous reviews raving about this place are dishonest or made up. Note sure how they consider this a B&B, as the second B really does not apply unless you are into thimble size shots of coffee and individually wrapped processed cheese food. Its in a weird residential area that has industrial mixed in. Cement trucks were backing into the driveway next door. Available parking is parking on the narrow street. We usually stay in the Holiday Inn Express about 1/2 km from airport. Much better choice. Skip this place unless you are desperate for a one night stay. I never felt so unwelcome when arriving at a place to stay. Towels were like sandpaper, and I mean 60 grit sandpaper. No hand towels. Everything labeled "Not Free" (i.e. bottles of wine on the counter and some other items in the fridge. And the layout is strange as well. Common area with 3 rooms off of that, 2 with a shared bath. We had the only private bath. And 4:30 check-in and 10 am check-out? Could this be more inconvenient. I have to believe previous posts on this place are a ruse. Anything more than a one night stay here for a next day flight is bound to disappoint.

I'm sorry you had a negative experience with us. In our view, you should only book in the hotel. The B & B is managed by family and it's like staying more or less at home. For breakfast we have a regulation and we hold offer guests, only packaged food. we did not like it at all, that you said that the other book reviews are not true, what your think, its your own opinion and its ok, but please you should not have to think about the others. For you it was a bad experience, but for others a good one. As your experience was so good at the Holiday Inn, go next time and we are completely sure that you will enjoy the stay.

A good B&B option near Milan MXP airport
We wanted a night stay near Milan MXP and this hotel offers exactly that. The hotel staff were really helpful and they came to pick us up at the airport for a payment of 10 Euro which was very reasonable. They also offered a drop to and pick up from a restaurant in the small town of Ferno for dinner. The breakfast was simple, homely and enough. The room was really nice. We loved it. The small town of Ferno is pleasing too. We took a train to Milan next morning.
