Got back from a cruise with my family and was able to check in early (paid a fee) at 10am and upgrade my room with ease. Safe, great food options and the staff was awesome. My son loved the pool. Super easy to get to the airport, zoo, and port. Highly recommend.

"My stay at Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon was enjoyable overall, but there were some areas that could have been improved. Firstly, upon entering the room, I noticed it was quite dusty, and the bathroom's shower head showed signs of hard water buildup, which was disappointing. Additionally, there was a lack of proper ventilation in the bathroom, making it feel stuffy after showering. The carpet had several dirty marks, indicating it could use a thorough cleaning or replacement. In terms of technology, there were limited phone charging ports, which felt outdated. Despite these issues, the hotel's amenities and service were satisfactory, but attention to room maintenance and updates would enhance the overall experience."

The rooms and carpets were dirty. the airconditioning was exectpional loud (must be 50 years old). A latino band was playing in the entire dining and reception area at an extremely loud level (had to hold over my ears). Dirty Carpets in the bedrooms with wets spots mysterious stuff. No soap in shower dispenser. No bottled drinking water in rooms. Hilton should be ashamed of themselves with this hotel. But the people there were excellent - polite - helpful - etc.

There were no trash bags in trash, no trash can had to request for one. Have to request room service and the room service number was off or out of service. Saw hair in shower and bed . Not what I expected from a Hilton Hotel. There were no convenient items like napkins, coffee, no microwave, mini fridge didn’t work. Barely any lights was only like two lamps . No ventilation in bathroom just a light.

I genuinely love Hilton properties, but this is somewhere I would never book again. The staff was rude and every day it was something we kept getting the runaround and after the fact that we live, I was genuinely glad I will never book you again.

We were surprised by the “new” Policy of cleaning the rooms only once in a while! In a one week stay the room was serviced only twice. We had to ask for fresh towels and even for toilet paper since we ran out of it. Considering we were staying in a suite the service was well below what we expected. Also the self parking is expensive at $30/day. That is not indicated in the website.

We only stayed one night for a cruise the next morning. Check in was easy and quick. Had the choice of floor preference. Airport shuttle (free) and cruise shuttle (extra fee) available, which worked out great.

We arrived around 11:30. Discoveted check in starts at 4pm. Standing in a very long line after 4pm we inquired as to our room availability & couldn't even get an estimate. We were told to await a text. Watched multiple people arrive & get rooms between 4&5pm. After 5pm stood in another very long line, thankfully, this time customer service provided a room.

The rooms are outdated with water damage and paint peeling. Carpets and room in general need updates. That said. Friendly staff, convenience and comfortable bed still make it a good choice

The staff was polite and helpful. Provided a service for us to go from hotel to cruise port and the same service picked us up from cruise to go back to hotel. The hotel allowed us to stay on premises until it was time for our flight. They stored our luggage and we were able to lounge around in lounge, eat dining area or sit out in pool area. It was great!

For a building of its vintage --- mid 1990s is my guess --- The Blue Lagoon served the purpose of providing my 11 year old and I of a good night's rest after a long Miami cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. Only two shortcomings: (1) Very little in-house restaurant options; too much focused on room service; and (2) A Hilton Honors hotel should really provide airport shuttle early morning reservations rather than "First come, First Serve". There was unnecessary tension getting on the 5 am shuttle when three people who did not arrive "on time" tried to force their way onto the already-filled bus, almost shoving aside a man in a wheelchair.

Hotel was very nice & clean, but VERY expensive regarding food & drinks - I had a bloody Mary $19. Lunch cost us $60. For dinner we had to go out of the hotel via uber, there is nothing walking distance to eat.

This is a post cruise waiting for our flight next day location. Was easy to get to. Property is beautifully and pool was delightful to wait at. Food was good. A really enjoyable last day of vacay! And free shuttle to airport.

Very convenient to the port. Water pressure was nonexistent. I mean there was NO water pressure. It was very difficult to wash the soap off. Ants in the room and hallways worn. TV was fabulous and beds comfortable. Definitely not u to a Hilton standard.
