Size, outdoor amenities and location of apartment were good. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired! All flooring (including carpet) felt sticky and bathrooms were filthy with mould and a build up of soap scum. We ended up having to buy bathroom cleaner and do a clean ourselves before using! Kitchen was no better with all benches needing a scrub and all provided kitchen utencils needing a wash through dishwasher before using.  When I raised my concerns with the guy at reception he didn't seem to care. He muttered something about talking to the 'cleaner'.  The icing on the cake though was when he tried to charge me $2.50 for another roll of the 1ply rubbish they like to call toilet paper. The reason we went through so much was because the roll holder was hanging off the wall and you just had to look at the roll and it would fall onto the dirty floor. A great place if you want to go on holiday to clean up some elses mess.

Tire & lacking attention to detail. Not a "resort"

I wouldn't stay there again. Curtains missing 2 x segments into living room - passers by could see in as we were on the ground floor! Wi-Fi hopeless & after 2 complaints to office, and still unable to get on, I used my own. Didn't supply the basics - like toilet paper (even the cleaning after 1st week didn't supply more on anything) - so bought own. Expect if dishwasher & washing machine that they would supply at least a small supply of tablets/powder so they could be used - none, so bought our own. Several doors have been water effected - needed so slam to close (causing our baby to wake). Assume light globe in living room broken as light didn't work. Air conditioning poor & if finally broke down during our visit. Preventative maintenance (re-gassing would have avoided). Finally, if pool times say 7am to 9pm, the management shouldn't ask swimmers to reduce noise at 7pm!

Thank you for your feedback. As a self-contained resort apartment, we supply the same things like the others do on the Gold Coast. However we still supplied extra toilet rolls and dishwasher detergent with no cost on request. After finished two vouchers for internet within 3 days, we provided an unlimited account for Wifi and others didn't have problems. The aircon was broken down on Saturday afternoon around 1pm and we successfully got it fixed by calling an after hour technician who arrived in 1 hour. The kids in the pool were screaming out extremely loud. After we got complaints from other guests, we politely asked you to turn the volume down. Thank you for your understanding.

It was a very hot week. Great air cond in both living areas and bedrooms, great shower lots of water pressure, comfortable bed and carpet through out. Not much road noise and a nice pool and spa. Ticked all our boxes

Sunshine in Mermaid Beach

The location is good, walking distance to the Mermaid beach. But the apt itself could be more clean especially the kitchen floor. The front desk closes early on weekends, so we received instructions to pick up keys etc which was quite easy.

Location was great cleanliness was ordinary greasy kitchen floor the balcony was littered with debris and dirt air conditioners were missing filters as they were stuck on top of cupboards

This property is close to everything. Upon arrival check in after 12 was super easy and customer service and communication from the owners was impecable. They were very good at answering questions and extremely friendly. The small things that can be improved are that the bathroom was not as clean as I hoped a few hairs missed and there are a few little things like exhaust fans may need some repairs and one shower head is more of a mist than a shower. There is no lift to get bags up to rooms but honestly we probably needed the exercise. These things would not stop me going back as the customer service and secure parking was well worth it. The pool is the perfect temperature, the rooms large and very safe, I felt safe staying here with my family which is very important. I liked the owners i liked our stay here it was everything a family of 5 needed at a great price. The allocated parking makes everything so easy and the little touches like dishwasher liquid, cups, plates, soaps and cloths really made it feel homely. I think the people running it are doing a grear job and they should be very proud of themselves. Thank you kindly for our stay

6 lids to know where !!!!

Not the best place to stay if you have any illness or fatigue and suitcases, absolutely confusing entry into the property. No cooking equipment, not 1 saucepan but 6 lids.....🙄 and too top it of 2 towels for 2 adults for three days, then when I requested for fresh one the man suggested a surcharge for clean one NOT ON !!!!
