Room smelled of cleaning solutions when we arrived, dining choices in the area were limited. Not much interesting to walk to from here. Doing this trip again, we would have stayed in Kiama rather than in Merimbula.

Great view and convenient
Unit was great with beautiful view. Everything was clean. The hotel is very convenient within easy walking distance to shops. Pool looked great but as was wet and cold didn’t get to use it. Only thing was sink in bathroom was very small. This was the only sink in the unit so made it difficult for filling the kettle. Other than that it was a great place.

Quick stay
For a family of 5 the room was probably a little to small for my liking. Very clean and tidy though. Friendly welcome. Nice and close to the main street so could walk to shops and restaurants for dinner. Pool was extremely cold.

Fantastic People running the business, Nothing is a problem. Even moved their boat so I could park my vehicle in under cover out of the weather. Gave me maps of the area and directions to where I wanted to go. Strongly recommend this property to everyone as the place to stay

Somehow or other the booking was fouled up, we paid for Dinners but there is no Restaurant. The proprietor went all out and remedied the situation with the issue of vouchers at an eating establishment, really great and accommodating result from a potential calamity. Breakfasts were good, Wi Fi was good as well. Presented with a bottle of wine at departure for the inconvenience. Extremely good outcome from as I said a potential calamity.

What was great: Cleanliness; location of hotel to beach, cafes and shops; facilities and size of room. The pool was damaged by the storms so we were compensated for it with a dinner voucher at the Aquarium Wharf Restaurant which. What wasn’t great: The bed - was too firm. Was really hard to sleep on.

Stop looking and just stay here .
It was terrific, very spacious , has a small kitchenette allowing me to a meal and eat it in ythe comfort of the room . the Bathrooms are very modern and appear to have been recently renovated. The Beds , linen and pillows are all of high quality making it a comfortable place to stay.its also very close to the town and only 3 mins walk to all facilities ,I wont be going anywhere but the Sapphire waters when i next visit.

Great location
We had a one night stay and found the location very handy to shops, restaurants and club. The motel was in the process of renovation and we had a room that was already finished and very comfortable. The room had a nice view and balcony off the lounge area.

From the road, this motel looks like a really great place to stay. It's well presented, the gardens are neat and tidy, located in a great spot, and they have won various awards over the years. We booked and payed 3 nights in the "King spa suite", room 26. The room backs onto the major round-a-bout in town, the noise of the traffic is unbearable. If you stay in this room, I recommend you go buy some earplugs. The furniture is old, the little kitchen facilities are old, the carpet is old and dusty....... #note to cleaners, look behind the bedside tables. Then there's the bathroom, the spa is a great size, but it barely pumps out any water, the taps are all chipped and worn-out, the tiles are cracked, the hand basin has big cracks in it, the grout in the tiling is filthy... if it hasn't already fallen out. And the mold in the shower is really bad. Even the front door to the room has a big crack in it. The bed however, was surprisingly comfortable, and although I only spoke to the lady at the front desk for 2 minutes upon check in, she was nice. Now, the manager will read this and most likely write a reply to me saying something along the lines of "we're sorry to hear about your bad experience, and why didn't you report it to our team, blah blah blah", but it's the same old story with all these motels, the managers only want your money, and don't want to upgrade any of the facilities. This review is only for Room 26, I can't comment on the others..
