If you rang, then definitely wouldn't have taken this booking On check-out, you were swearing and verbally abusing me to hurry up while I checked the room. I will let other guests decide with this 1-star review. This is obviously an abuse of the review feature of the platform. I'm not going to waste my time with this review. We wish you all the best. Hi Mark,Thank you for staying with us mate and for taking the time to post a review of 8 out of 10. Good to know that you liked and appreciated the complimentary upgrade to our our renovated bathroom. Normally, I would have looked the other way but with all due respect mate, I'm 5'2 and majority of our guest are not as tall as you are but describing our room for midgets or children is totally uncalled for. I've stayed and managed accommodation for the last 20 years and I'd say the size of our room is well within industry standard and definitely not a "hobbit sized" bathroom if that's what you mean. Hi Kaljinder, Thank you for staying with us and I'm so sorry to hear you had this issue. Honestly, I would also be upset if I were in your situation. We had a good start providing late check-in instructions and everything was going well and you seem like a reasonable person to deal with. First of all, it's not a 'little thing' that was broken and if it was, then I would have definitely let it slide. We had guests that broke a kettle, broke the table leg or even broke the toilet seat and I didn't charge them for it as I can fix it ourselves. It was the tiled soap holder that was broken and it cost us more than $250 for parts and labor to have it fixed and we didn't attempt to charge your card further not to include the few days that we are unable to sell the room as it was under maintenance. It's really disheartening that we have to end your booking this way. You were very friendly and left the room clean and tidy but unfortunately, this has to be done.
