The hotel was safe to stay and the services provided was just enought to go with. I loved the staff at the reception area, and the cleaners were professional.

it was said there will be WIFI, after calling service desk in receptions i got the passwords, logged in once, within 10 mts that went off, left with no wifi connection till I checked out, also i tried using iron full of dirt i had to clean it before ironing my cloth, no tooth paste or brush, but yes plenty of small bottles of shampoo and conditioner . .

After a rather frosty welcome and a surprise $100 room deposit sorry sir not cash, I found the room comfortable a the renovated bathrooms nice. The bed was very good. Bad point it was over a week before my room deposit was refunded,

The manager was very helpful after a long day for her. Was very impressed with her service and dedication even though she was struggling.

Bed was terrible, curtains were ripped, only one staff member serving both the bar and kitchen. Food was lacking in both quality and quantity overall the only thing the Monash done well was charge!! Wouldn’t go back

The staff are amazing, my meal was great and my room very clean. However, the noise from patrons in the outside smoking area, woke me at 1.30am and again at 4.30am and 6am 2 guys having a loud discussion. Was amazed at how many people were there at 7am, when I came in for a coffee.

Room was nice and clean staff were excellent. Just only downfall was the pokies open to 8am and hearing people all night in the beer garden and walking around past rooms

We stayed at this motel as we were attending a function at the hotel. The room was lovely - plenty of space, and of course, so convenient! Pretty noisy as it is situated on Dandenong Rd but the rooms are way back off the road, so not too much of an issue. Everything that you would expect.

Very convenient for the Monash hospital. Having a great dining room and amazing food was a fantastic bonus. The only downside was trying to locate the box to return the door key card, it's not visible enough being on the wall where it is, everyone's back is to it. It needs to be by the front door of reception.

Rooms were very clean. Bathrooms very dark and no hairdryers in the room. They are available from reception, but reception was closed when i needed it. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Sounded like drag racing for aleast two hours out on the main road. Then there were people soundtlike gheu were having a party at 6.30 in the morning outside. I only got 3 hours sleep with all the noise outside

Staff were fantastic from moment we arrived. Room was good set up for family with 2 teenagers. Only down side was the noise coming from the Friday night drinkers at the pub and the drag racing on the main road.

The room we were given was not what we reserved and it had not been cleaned from the previous occupants. We were given a "free" upgrade to a different room which was the type we originally reserved. Apart from that, all was OK.

Cars and bikes reved and did burn outs half the night. Rooms are not properly sound proofed. Locals talked and carried on right through till 6.00am in the car park. Hardly slept a wink.

Staff were friendly over the phone when we were going to be late in. Could do with another sign as driving in the dark was hard to see as Nightcap Sign was interchangable with another sign so wasn't on the nightcap one when we drove past. Was looking for Nightcap not Monash Hotel, perhaps my fault. Room we were in was small but it was a studio, however lovely new crisp sheets and good fluffy towels. Room very tidy and clean, for our quick overnight stop it was very good for the price.

Hi Helen Thankyou for leaving us with your feedback. I'm a little unsure as to why this difference is leaving you unsatisfied though. It is true that with only 21 rooms, we technically could be called a motel, however, compared to your standard motels, we have more facilities and amenities on offer like family friendly restaurant with large enclosed kids play area, irish bar, room service and gaming room. If you happen to have another booking with us in the future, we do encourage you to come and experience all these extra services we provide to make your stay more enjoyable.

It is very clean, refurbished with a very comfy bed. The staff were really helpful and the meals we had at the hotel were tasty and generous servings. There isn’t a hairdryer in the room so bring your own if you need one.
