Great location opposite park
Great location, close to transport, shops, cafes. Easy walking distance to city, Queen Vic markets .... we had an upgrade to an apartment as we were staying several nights. Everything you needed was provided.. very clean & comfortable. Would certainly recommend.

Great location to Princes Park and Sydney Road. The gentleman at reception was friendly, accommodating and efficient. Being an older building you can hear nearby rooms coming and going throughout the night.

The property is close to to a direct tram line to the centre of Melbourne. Our room was clean but small.

If you are travelling by motor vehicle this is the place to stay in Melbourne. There are plenty of off street parking. The deluxe queen rooms are a very generous size in the living area, although the bathroom is tiny in size and only suitable for 1 person at a time. The rooms are exceptionally clean with daily servicing. Have stayed here many times over the past 37 years. Would highly recommend this motel

Very welcoming
Overnight stay, very welcoming at reception, easy check(as we have stayed there before), quiet room, even though there was a child next door, never heard the child at night, very clean room and comfortable bed and pillows. Will stay again.

Easy to access, close to cafes and righ in front of the park. lots of free car park and if you are lucky, just in front of your door. Our room was in need of some repairs but nothing major. I noted the alarm clock was due to be checked by an electrician in 2017. I don't know why but it is rare for me to have a room at any hotel with a clock displaying the right time. It's annoying. We had a room which had views to the people passing by in the hotel buy no views of the outside. We could here our neighbour going to the toilets.

We love this property. It is right next to a tram stop that goes straight to the city. Princess park and a 3k walking track just over the road.

We have been staying at this motel for over 20 years. The rooms are well kept and clean and comfortable, also a great location and free parking. Does however need some updating and good value for money!

Deluxe queen room was small with a tiny bathroom. It was clean however wall hangings/shelves were falling off in the bathroom. You could here the bathrooms from surrounding rooms.

Clean reliable place to Stay that just works
I have stayed here on many occasions. Always clean, always enjoy my stay here. With supa friendly staff this place just works. Great onsite parking and great location as a platform Melbourne from without being in the CBD - and this is way it’s so good - it represents overall excellent value for money. One tip - book the bigger size room it’s always worth the price difference.

Always good to stay at Princes Park. Very friendly and professional staff, they seem to remember customers! Clean and comfortable rooms and free parking. Great access to the CBD via tram, Carlton North via a walking trail and Sydney Road for a range of great meals. We have tried other places but always return.

We have stayed in this motel many times and always return for the location and good value for money. The only negative was some rather noisy neighbours quite late at night.
