Old world charm with modern comforts. Highly recommended, staff where responsive and super friendly. I enjoyed the open brick fireplace every night during my stay. The massive spa was the cherry on top, and I'm looking forward to visiting again

Such a beautiful little house to call home for a short while. A lot of thought has gone into making your stay a quality experience. Loved the bacon and eggs!

We had an amazing night there, its in the city so we were close to shops and really comfortable especially if you are with kids!

The property had the most amazing, lush gardens with gorgeous chickens to play with. It felt like a little fairy grotto. Really nice to wake up in the morning and see the tree ferns out the window.

Perfect Retreat
All comforts, pretty surroundings and very quiet. Ye olde world atmosphere but with ducted heating; a pleasant surprise. Walking distance to Olinda shops.

Lovely little cottage in the woods
Had a wonderful time. The courage we stayed in was small but had everything we needed and a wonderful view. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a few days away

Beautiful cottage
Felt very much at home in this beautiful cottage. Was made very welcome by Brett, who came by to see us as we arrived (and told us he built most of the additions to the cottage!). We loved the fireplace. Breakfast was well provisioned and it was fun cooking on the Kooka! One more thing that needs to be mentioned is the thought out into the art in the cottage. A combination of Mattise reproduction and some original artwork in every room added to the charm and energy of the place. Lovely to wake up to in the morning!

The cottage is charming and private, with its own carport. The kitchen was well stocked with breakfast essentials but if you felt like eating out the shops were only a 10min walk away.

A step back in time
Entering Como Garden Cottage was like stepping back in time. Everywhere we looked there were authentic gems from the past: the Kookaburra stove, Kelvinator fridge, cast iron bath and four poster bed. The cottage was warm, comfortable and inviting. The garden was beautiful, filled with more of Brett's treasures as well as a couple of gorgeous hens that wandered the garden. We loved it!

Easy access to all Olinda has to offer
A lovely place to stay in the heart of Olinda. We loved cooking up our supplied breakfast in the beautiful 1930's stove.

A pleasant step into the 50's
The Garden cottage. The fittings are generally from the 50's, including a gas stove, tap fittings and bathroom. It is comfortable, with a leather lounge, and 4 poster iron bed. The bathroom/on suite is small though, only one person can fit comfortably at a time, but unless you are pressed for time, this is not a big problem. there is both central heating, and an open fire for the winter. We found the bed quite comfortable, rating it as a 7 out of ten against all the beds we have slept in including our own. The gardens are delightful. The major test is would we stay again? Yes.

This was a weekend in heaven!
The Forget Me Not cottage in Olinda was incredibly cosy. It rained all weekend and we didn't care...the fire, the beautiful view from our tree top cottage and breakfast supplies kept us happy. The owners were absolutely lovely. If you like comfort plus character..this place is for you..we were sad to leave!.Definitely going back.

Comfy cottages tucked away in the depths of the Dandenong's was what we were after! It was perfect! Loved it! Very private and respected.... Very clean also!

Como Lavernda Cotttage Stay, Olinda
Excellent stay, was welcomed by the owner upon arrival and directed to our cabin. The cabin was only a short stroll to the shops and cafes in Olinda. Breakfast was all set up to cook up in the morning, wood was provided to light the open fire that night whilst relaxing watching some dvds's also provided. A large spa with never ending hot water welcomed the upstairs bedroom.A BBQ outside the cottage provided opportunity for a nice lunch in the sunshine. Breakfast was on the upstairs balcony admiring the views and local bird life. Couldnt ask for a better time away. Highly recomended.
