Excellent reasonably priced accommodation in the heart of the city. The staff were fantastic. Security was good as they locked main doors at 8pm and entry was then only right into a secure foyer. Excellent restaurants and cafes were just a few steps away. Trams in the city are free which was very handy. Rooms were basic but I'd thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

The king deluxe room really suited the needs for myself my husband and my son, who was very comfortable in a separate room on the sofa bed. Large enough for all of us to spend 5 days in close contact with each other without getting in each others way.

The female front desk staff is polite, friendly and helpful. However, the other male staff I met in the evening was very rude. The room was clean and quite spacious compare to other budget hotels. Big screen TV is best thing. Music from the pub downstairs was very loud. I could hear the beat goes boom boom until 4am.

It was okay
Service was good on check in / check out, and plenty of amenities provided. Only complaint was that the bedding and towels from the previous tenant had been left on the couch on arrival, and the sheet on our bed did not fully cover the mattress leaving us partially sleeping directly on the mattress. There is a bar upstairs which you get 20% off food and drinks, however if their is an event on, expect there to be noise until late.

Unfortunately the sofa bed that I paid extra for wasn’t ready. It was setup after we waited, however only 1 blanket provided, no quilt or top sheet and only 1 towel. Also there was an “event” on level 1, noise all night long!

The room was great. Big TV ,spotless, nice bed and decent view. The big let down was the hot water or lack thereof. That's a real nono guys. Apart from that we'd stay again. Foyer and entrance don't do it justice. The bathroom has been warmed over but ok . It's good value

I loved the position , you could really say u were right in the middle of Melbourne able to go in any direction to meet my needs including walked to and from the Southern Cross station. The only thing I can criticize would be the noise level on the saturday night until 3am from the onsite Bar /niteclub. I stayed 3 nites and the noise only bothered me on the one nite. Would stay again without question.

Overall good stay. Two things that were annoying was the blinds did not prevent light getting in and the rooms are not sound proof. I could hear a party next door. The room itself was nice and big and clean.
