We booked one night in the cheapest available room for proximity of transport connections to airport. Basic but functional hotel, wouldn't want to spend more than a night or two (unless in fancier room) but did the job for us. Staff were excellent and allowed us to check in early when we tried to drop off baggage.

Nice bed but the shower door was rather tight to enter. Im nearly 100kg do there is a lot of bigger people who could never get into it.

Not sure what is "Best" about "Best Western". Our room was poorly decorated and had hazards (steps that could easily be missed in the dark), only one bedside lamp, a bathroom with a basin impossibly tucked into a corner, wasted space where a cupboard or wardrobe could easily be fitted, the swipe cards for the doors only work after the 10th attempt (confirmed to be the same for other guests), inconsistent cleaning and supply of linen and towels, and so on. No more than 2 stars for me.

Room was a little small but manageable, the Metro noise was a little loud at times. Restaurant menu was loud mites but quite tasty.

It is clean but the bathroom is very small. Hand wash sink is tiny size in the corner. The shower room is very small and door size two feet wide. It’s very hard to use the bathroom so I canceled the rest two days book and moved to nearby hotel.

Sorry to say i didn't like much other than the comfortable bed my room was smelly but to managements credit they upgraded me to a better room i would stay again but the owners need to sped money on room ugrades

We had booked this facility for 4 nights but had to leave after 1. The room had an awful smell or stale urnie/dampness. The furniture had liquid splatters on it. The bathroom was unclean and if your tall it was difficult to move. The beds moved as they were on wheels. Curtains were unclean and stained. Windows were dirty. Will never return. Sorry.

Perfect location close to public transport and everything you’d need within walking distance! I was really impressed with the staff, they were so friendly and helpful. I arrived in the early hours after an overnight bus to drop my bags off and, as they had a spare room, they let me check in early which was fantastic. I booked a shoebox room so was expecting it to be small but it had all the amenities and was a great size for a solo traveller. The only criticisms I’d have was the lighting in the room, the main light was extremely bright but the bedside lamp too dim so something in between would be more comfortable as the window was frosted so there’s little natural light and the laundry facilities were out of order but these things happen. I’d certainly stay again as it was great value for what you get.

Room was lovely and clean, staff were fabulous and allowed me early check in. Only issues was the car park is a 5 minute walk away (it was raining and was not stated that it was so far away) Had major issues with the bed, it was the hardest thing I had ever slept on. Was like sleeping on a wooden floor. I woke up stiff and in agony, woke hourly, extremely uncomfortable. It unfortunately ruined the experience, never had anything like it. Had I had a good nights rest, the stay would’ve been lovely.

I loved being able to be able to bring my little dog companion and have her stay with me in one of the pet friendly rooms. A lot of motels do not offer this option. Nice room, quiet and comfortable.

I like that the place wes clean, and if you asked for something the staff responded quickly. If I was to go back to Australia I would stay at Best- Western. A suggestion!! There is a restaurant on the first floor, it would be great if when someone booked to stay at the hotel. The meals could be incorporated in the fee.

Able to check in early and gave me a free room upgrade as well. Fabulous and friendly staff, lovely room, excellent water pressure in shower, convenient access to Southern Cross Station. Everything was clean. I highly recommend this property to anyone needing a hotel in this area of Melbourne.
