Very close to the children's hospital. Has its own access to the hospital. Room is very clean and quite spacious.

Highly recommended in general however absolutely perfect for when you have a family member in hospital. Conveniently located within walking distance of the 3 Royal hospital locations and hotel staff are absolutely fantastic and helpful. Room was very comfortable and well appreciated.

We chose this motel due to its close proximity to Royal Melbourne Hospital. The room was great. Beds and pillows comfy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Carpark is A$28 per night which has to collect an access card from receptionist before exit and return to them after exit. It takes time and there was the case someone blocked the drive way of the hotel front door.

The jazz music in the background entering the room created a very nice ambience and really set the mood! The chairs were very comfortable and the windowsill gave a nice view onto the parklands next door. The bed was extremely comfortable but it’s a pity I didn’t get to try out the shower it looked amazing!

When I arrived at 2pm my room did not have any hot water. I informed reception I needed to leave by 5pm for event however there was still no hot water by the time I left. I returned around midnight and thankfully there was hot water. There was no discount or compensation for not being able to access hot water in the bathroom for a shower.

Great looking property with a few minor concerns. As I moved the bed for better sleeping arrangements, the ground was extremely dirty which seemed like vacuuming hadnt been done for a while with small feathers (from pillows/blankets I assume) & visible rubbish. The bath tub/shower was quite slippery and I have no mobility issues, possible a non slip mat is required. The handle besides bath/shower entrance/exit had some sort of tape wrapped thrice, as the tub was slippery o had to use the handle bar and the tape is prickly to the point of pain. Chains for the blinds were broken. Spacious large room at the corner with great views of the park and city skyline. The parklands oh side is a great space for a nice walk or playground equipment for kiddies primary school age and up. There was a small water play area too As we were staying for medical procedure at RCH, the hotel is connected to RCH a great bonus, approx 630am-8pm - please check opening/closing times with hotel reception in case they change. At RCH there's a McDonald's, Japanese, couple of cafes, Chatime, Boost juice, Chinese dumplings, supermarket, couple of gifts stores, you can get flowers throughout. After 8/830pm there's a kebab shop across the road.

Property difficult to find as so close to the hospital-even using Sat nav in the car.Property fresh and bright with the art displays.Traffic on road outside was horrendous making it even more difficult to access.Most eateries needed a car to get to. Breakfast was available next morning.Located on lovely Royal Park.

DON'T BOTHER. We arrived at 3pm with a check-in time of 2pm and the room wasn't ready, we we're told to leave and they will call us when it's ready, no apology. The parking is so poorly explained in the welcome email. When I asked the girl to explain it to me she responded so rudely, asking me how often I will need to leave. She eventually handed me a piece of paper that explains that you need to enter and receive a ticket, park your vehicle and when you need to leave you need to go to reception and sign out a pass, leave the car park from a different exit and then drive around the front, park your car and bring the pass back to them. This costs $28 a night (as explained in the welcome email) yet I was charged for 3 days use of parking even though we only stayed 2 nights. The bathroom was dirty, with marks on the wall and other people's hair on the floor. The check-out time is 11am, yet we had someone trying to open the door without knocking at 9am. As I said, don't bother.

Overall, I was very happy with my stay, I loved the room, the view at the part, and the staff was very friendly. I was staying in a room opposite to the elevators, which was too loud for me. Next time I will request a room further from the elevators.

We enjoyed the stay , comfortable bed and clean, quiet room ,we got in late and used the mini bar , the beer was great but I think it was too expensive and the breakfast down stairs in the cafe was over the top ( had poached eggs but was smothered in Dukka) and option of one drink only, had a juice and had to pay for the coffee. Overall the room was great and the staff were great too, I would recommend it for a great place to stay. Thanks John

We thoroughly enjoyed a recent 3 night stay at this property after a seven hour drive made necessary by Medical needs. It will certainly on our radar for any future visits & so handy to the major hospitals nearby.
