The access to our room was inadequate as it was confusing which of the two lifts beside each other to use as one was only for staff use.We also could not get access to our room after returning at night to the room as a staff member had given our room to someone else while we were out and they had entered our room which had our private belongings and luggage in.it took a good half our to find someone, late at night to tell him our cards didnt work so we couldnt get in to sleep .

Central location, rooms were not always cleaned, staff were unaware on how to set up wifi or assist with ongoing issues with tv. Requests had to be made a few times before staff could help out. Bar staff advertised cocktails and didn’t know how to make them or a mocktail. Room smelt like mould. Air conditioner would stop working of a night. Beds were not comfortable. Housekeeping hadn’t serviced the room when signage was left out early in the morning requesting it. As hotel was at capacity, room rates had sky rocketed and we paid around $1400 for a weekend, a lot of money for the services that were not provided. Unfortunately the only positive about this accommodation was its location.

We had an awful experience at this hotel. We booked for 7 nights and upon checking into our room could smell a really strong bleach stench. We opened all the windows and turned the bathroom exhaust fan on for 30 minutes trying to get rid of the smell, but all it did was reveal a new smell of urine. It smelled like someone had urinated in the room and bleach was used to try and cover it up instead of a proper clean. My partner was getting a headache and started feeling nauseous because of the strong smell. We told the front desk and they didn’t seem to care. We asked to move to a different room, but they had none available. The only option they gave us was to pay an additional $600 to upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment. We decided to cancel our booking, and we were advised to contact Expedia for a refund. 3 days later, Expedia tells us they called the hotel several times and the hotel refused to refund our booking every time. Very poor customer service and overall experience. Luckily Expedia was able to resolve the issue for us. Now that I’ve thoroughly read the reviews for this hotel, I notice many mentioning the rooms are musty or mouldy or have a very bad smell. This was our experience too, and a thick layer of dust over everything as well. Great location and affordable price but cannot recommend.

Staff in dining room were rude and standoffish . 2 women . Was put in a room with no window that you could see out of unless you climbed in bed . Was also a disabled room so shower created a mess that was slippery . As it was only one night it was ok. Will not stay here again. Close to Southern cross station and transport to dock for anyone needing to get on a cruise . I don’t feel value for the price

Hotel was lovely but check in was a but of a mess. Quite a few unhappy people, car parking if you were the first 6 people, otherwise unhelpful directions to parking around the corner. Not helpful on a Friday in a busy part of town. Happy to be patient and wait my turn, but staff need to be more organised and appear eager to help. Staff downstairs at the bar went out if their way to get a table for us, which was appreciated.

The property is situated in a great area , close to shopping & eating . The property is getting old & tired looking and is a real maze to get to reception , then to lifts and out again . The children moved one of the single beds in our room and it had a lot of confetti and receipts under the bed . We actually did enjoy our stay and it was very suitable for our purpose . Thank you

I arrived at around 8pm after flying in from NSW. When I finally went to have a shower the water was cold. I decided I couldn’t be bothered notifying reception at that point and would just deal with it. The following morning, still the same, cold water. I decided to ring reception and the phone didn’t work. No way of contacting. As I was on a tight schedule I had to have another cold shower and when checking out, notified reception. They told me they would be in contact about compensation. No follow up.

I have ceoliac disease and needed a Gluten free breakfast, sadly I wasn't able to have the prepared breakfast. It was told to me they could cook some toast but I didn't feel safe if it was prepared safely. A corner for a light breakfast and its own table with safely prepared fruit and toaster would work favourable for other visitors.
