"Our family (4 adults) stayed at this lovely home for 3 nights for the Eclipse events April 2024. It was a perfect spot with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on the main floor. It was exceptionally clean and decorated so tastefully. We were even welcomed with homemade chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls. Thanks Missy, for the great accomadations!"

"We booked this a year and four months before the eclipse, so we could get to totality. This property was beautiful, quiet, and isolated, which is just what we needed! Being able to sit outside and just listen to nature was wonderful. We lucked out with the weather - summerlike and beautiful as well. Jill messaged us with all the information we needed and gave us choices when someone would be there for some maintenance. Very happy with this place."

"The staff and management at this hotel are very kind. I called ahead to ask for late check-in, and I was assured that my reserved room would be available. I didn't arrive until 1 am! The desk clerk didn't bat an eye and I settled in my room. They also allowed me a late checkout. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. I highly recommend this hotel. I will stay here again whenever I travel through this part of Illinois. "
