Jaspers Highlands is the third of three king-sized bed studio cabins, situated on the site of Jaspers whisky bar, and named after three Scottish whisky regions: Islay, Speyside and Highlands. Also on site is Park pop-up sea-container cafe (opening end of 2018), serving the best coffee in town.
Newly-built, Jaspers Cabins have been architect-designed to maximise your privacy and comfort. Oversized sliding doors pull back to connect the large studio space with the private, covered al fresco deck. The king-sized bed is dressed with fresh cotton linen and a choice of pillows, and the 2-5-seat sofa has a soft footstool giving guests choices of areas to relax. The deck also has seating for two with a side table.
The kitchenette – complete with SMEG and Nespresso small appliances and fridge – is revealed by sliding back the door panel, and next to this is a breakfast Abr/laptop desk and custom-designed luggage storage. All guests receive complimentary choice of teas and coffee pods, along with fresh Bannister Downs milk in the fridge.
For wine enthusiasts, we’ve champagne, white and red wine glasses, as well as a carafe, tumblers and whisky tumblers, as well as simple dining ware.
The fully-tiled bathroom houses a soft-close toilet, and oversized smoked glass rain shower, along with fluffy, white towels and complimentary guest amenities from Biology Skin Care. In the draw there’s a hair dryer, and in the robe opposite, there’s ample hanging and shelf space, as well as an iron and ironing board.
For road and MTB cyclists – who come to Pemberton for it’s excellent on an off-road trails – we’ve installed fold-down bike racks on the al fresco deck, so you can store and adjust your machines between rides. For ease of access, Jaspers Cabins have their own dedicated on-site parking.
Unique in Pemberton not just for their design and excellent location, Jaspers Cabins blend seamlessly into the heritage timber-town landscape, while offering the privacy and modern comforts one requires from a premium stay.
