Staff here are beyond amazing! Special shout out to Alivia in the Spa. One of the best therapists across the world! Fantastic spa facilities. The most beautiful gardens. Responded well to feedback and went above and beyond in their customer service.

60th birthday break
What an amazing hotel. Booked for 60th birthday treat, gave me a lovely cake and candle in the room! Extremely clean, lovely room, excellent spa. Charcuterie in the evening was an added bonus, excellent. Would definitely recommend and book again

Peaceful stay, loved every second
Had the best stay, loved the spa, great service, very clean, i keep thinking about the amazing brownie and cheeses they served on the antipasti board. Bed was super comfy, very peaceful room. Downside was the room was boiling even though we turned the radiator off at 6.30pm and in contrast the large steam room and infra red rooms in the spa were a bit cold. These minor issues are just minor and im already planning when i can return again as 1 night wasnt enough

A fabulous stay which we couldn’t fault. Amazing service, a fabulous spa and the food in The Dining Room was excellent too. We’ll definitely return and will also book in for Sunday lunch soon too. Highly recommended!

We had a delightful stay at Whatley Manor. The hotel is fabulous and super luxurious and the spa is a treat. The service was impeccable and we were made to feel at home away from home. We highly recommend this hotel.

What dreams are made of!
Fantastic Anniversary stay. The staff were all absolutely wonderful which really enhanced our experience at this beautiful countryside hotel. The grounds are breath-taking we simply could not fault the hotel!

Perfect pre Christmas getaway
A wonderful relaxing pre Christmas treat. One of the best Spa hotels I have visited in the UK and facilities were excellent. Service throughout the hotel was friendly and attentive. Couldn’t fault the room we had in anyway and the bed was particularly comfortable. I had my best nights sleep for ages. Everything was very clean and felt Covid safe. We were particularly impressed by the hotels mission to be eco friendly and plastic free. We ate in Greys Brasserie and our only slight criticism was the limited menu choice and lack of additional vegetables though I’m sure we could have had some if we’d asked. The food we had couldn’t be faulted and there was an excellent choice for breakfast. Would be very happy to return anytime and would love to try the restaurant.

Exceptional meal experience
Stayed at Whatley Manor in order to have dinner at the 2* Dining Room which was superb! Had a couple of hours in the spa first which is definitely worth checking out. Only minor niggles - the phone was out of order so unable to use room service Need to be aware that a discretionary 10% charge is added to the total bill including accommodation which is a bit cheeky as not advised on Hotels.com. Given the room rate, it’s not an inconsiderable amount, however can be removed in checkout.

Pure luxury
From the moment you drive down the tree lined lane, you can see the beautiful building with lovely gardens. Whilst this is a lovely hotel to stay at, the visit is made even more special with the lovely spa facilities. The Greys brassiere restaurant offers great food and drinks and the staff are very knowledgeable and attentive.

Refurbished Superior Rooms of a high standard with quality products and comfortable surroundings. Dining options are excellent and features many culinary delights, prepared by knowledgeable chefs.

Fantastic stay from beginning to end. The property and grounds are simply stunning, the entire staff extremely friendly and the facilities (especially the spa) are very impressive. Food does not disappoint either. We will come back for sure!!

Superb hotel. My friend and I went to enjoy a relaxing spa weekend. The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived. Room was fantastic, with very comfy bed, private patio and top bathroom. The spa area was extensive with 3 steam rooms to choose from, sauna, pool with outdoor bit, relaxation room and sensory room. They had these showers with a eucalyptus style spray next the steam rooms, sometimes it's the little touches that you notice! I had a massage, which was great. Very professional staff. We ate in the brasserie. Food was high quality with a good selection of wines. I kind of regret not trying the Michelin star restaurant but the latest sitting they had was 5pm, which was a tad on the early side for our liking. The lounge area was relaxing and we enjoyed some after dinner drinks. Extensive cocktail and drinks menu on offer if you're in the mood for a little tipple. All this in the stunning and picture postcard hotel grounds. If I had one tiny criticism it would be the decor in the spa lounge cafe. It was a touch late nineties/early noughties, which wasn't very in keeping with the rest of the hotel, which was classic and tasteful. I thought I was on the set of Hollyoaks, circa 2001. I say that tongue in cheek, it certainly didn't detract from our stay... though perhaps a little refresh in this area of the hotel might not be such a bad idea.

Wow what a wonderful place. Fantastic staff, the best ever. They take care of your every need. This place is so nice! Spa is great too, one of the best I have ever been too. Restaurant is fantastic! Grounds are wonderful ! This was our first time, but we will come back again and again!!

Lovely country hotel
This was our third stay at Whatley Manor and the first for more than one night. The hotel is set in beautiful countryside with plenty of quiet places to sit and relax. Hotel staff were always very attentive but not intrusive.
