"The young woman (blonde and a newer employee) who greeted us and helped us during our visit was amazing. She offered the highest level of service and made our visit so memorable. My parents and I were impressed by her kindness and willingness to help."

"Just that there is no one at the reception in the morning like we stayed for 2 nights. After 1 night I had questions and there was no one to talk to and the next day after checkout when we wanted to exit the gate and the automatic control was not working it had to be manually controlled and there was no one for that. We had to ask someone in the cafe to help out in that."

"This was a beautiful hotel! Our room was small, but very clean and comfortable with a renovated bathroom. We had a view of the water, and this was one of the best views we’ve ever seen. The hotel is up on a hill overlooking the river and bay and you can’t find a more idyllic setting. We ate dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and the food was incredible. It was the best meal we had out of 10 days in Scotland, by far! "

"Lovely affordable option in Portree, the cost of a private room with breakfast was only slightly more than a hostel with dorm-style rooms - totally worth it. Hotel is just around the corner from the main square and bus stop. Lots of food options close by. Staff was very friendly, bar was nice, breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again while visiting Skye."
