Room review
Rooms are clean and quite spacious as is the bathroom. The washing machine and dryer to do a load of washing in the room was a bonus. The bistro meals were amazing and within a minutes walk of the room. Continental breakfast is great. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

I arrived very late and staff were great about communicating checkin procedures, which were smooth. The hotel looks ordinary from the outside but the rooms are clean, large and well appointed. In-room breakfast is generous. Nearby hotel with good dining options.

Loved that the rooms had a washing machine and dryer. They are very spacious and well equipped. A home away from home.

The motel is connectedto the Shamrock Hotel, so is close to meals if you need that!

Really liked having the continental breakfast items put in the fridge each day. Meant I didn't have to go by a schedule from a dining room when visiting on a work trip with early starts. They put bread for toasting, butter, condiments, yoghurt and orange juice in the fridge each day for the next morning's breakfast. Perfect for my needs.

Shamrock Stay
My stay at The Shamrock Motel was very good the only thing not right was that the previous guests had used coffee mugs and not cleaned them before placing in the cupboard.

One of the Best Accommodation places in Mackay
This is one of the top places to stay in Mackay. It has everything you need for a long or short stay. Cannot rate it highly enough.🤗🙂

Old, tired, very clean. BUT, THE NOISIEST MOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN ! The A1 right outside your window - drive on unless you have a sleeping pill!

Thanks for your review and feedback Susan! Not sure what room you were in, but our rooms are located behind the Shamrock Hotel, quite a distance from the main road, so may be you are thinking of a different motel.
