Really lovely and reliable stay. Cleaners over Christmas and NY’s just needs to change mugs when we used them, spoons, and vacuum/sweep floor. Breakfast was great!

I paid for a king room as per the advertisement. I got a small standard room with 2 single beds pushed together... This was a small standard room charged at the king room price.... Terribly disapointing. I advise to inspect room before paying.

I am sorry to hear of your disappointment. I have checked your booking and you were allocated the correct room. The mattresses in these rooms are high quality 'pacific comfort' mattresses and while some beds are a 'king split' design they are very comfortable.Wishing you all the best.

Tiled floors very dirty. Doors easily opened by 2 yo who ran off and can’t be secured from inside the room. Accidentally left key in the room and the door was locked on outside. No person on-site available and had to wait over 30 min for someone to let us back into the room.

Travelled 14-17 April with my 3 children and had an amazing family room #421 with everything we could need for our stay. The admin staff were absolutely lovely! Big smiles, welcoming and helpful with local info. The property itself is well maintained tidy and clean. Kids enjoyed the pool area while I relaxed on a pool chair. Will be staying again for sure. Will dine at the restaurant next time as heard great reviews from another guest. We left early in the morning and stripped our beds, tidied up and emptied our bins for the cleaners. Thankyou Coral Cay for a wonderful stay :) The Matthews family.

Friendly helpful staff. Big dissapointment and safety issue was having a family unit that was not safe for the under 2 year old. It was upstairs but had no baby gate, we went and bought a baby gate and then realised that the railings were wide enough for the toddler to fit through and fall couldn't relax. Lovely place otherwise.

We've stayed here before but in a studio unit so thought we'd stay again but this visit we required 2 rooms, beds and sheets were fine, but the cleanliness of the rooms was disgusting - dusty, rubbish under the beds. There weren't enough cutlery for 4 - cutlery missing. The room overall was rundown. One of the remotes didn't work and the other one worked sometimes. Our room was serviced but no extra towels were provided, one face cloth and one hand towel for 4 people? Really! No instructions in the laundry, and due to being far from anything no cash machine to get cash/coins! No small milk provided in he fridge or bottles of water. Really bad conditions for a two bedroom unit, much better accommodation for the price we paid elsewhere in Mackay. Really bad appearance of all motels down the Nebo Road strip in our opinion.
