Really nice stay wasn't sure how was gonna be but exceeded our expectations, walls are a bit thin so any noise from neighbouring rooms is easily heard

Lovely views from room. Abit noisy being so close to the highway. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open and the spa was booked out.

Nice location but not the price
The hotel was in a nice location with a good outlook but the restaurant was closed which we weren’t told until arrival, there were lots of cobwebs indoors and our room wasn’t serviced during the stay. The room was a good size but overall expected a little more for the price.

It is not a hotel but a old motel, Expedia needs to insure the descriptive is correct and facilities as shown on web are actually open.

The room had amazing views, so beautiful and a lovely place to sit and watch the sunset. The morning was so lovely to watch the fog rise off the mountain and see the bunnies running around. We were disappointed that there was an odour in our bathroom, we moved the diffuser to try and cover the smell but we could still smell it. When I had a shower the water was luke warm, when we had a spa the water was Luke warm so I had to keep boiling the kettle to add some boiling water to make it a reasonable temp.

Super relaxed, great views. Beds were very comfortable. A decent table and couch would have helped, not all of us can watch tv in bed. The restaurant was an absolute highlight, highly recommend.

Room with a mountain view
We had a relaxing stay with a beautiful view of Mount Macedon. A great location with a nice spa bath and Gisborne and Macedon were only a short drive for dinner. Highly recommended!

Really disappointed with our stay at this Hotel. We arrived to be told that the pool was out of order which was not mentioned at the time of booking. Our kids were extremely upset by this after driving for several hours. The neighbours were extremely noisy until all hours of the morning. No empathy offered from staff when we notified them the next day.

Was very disappointed with the “King sized bed” which was two king singles pushed together with a annoying seem in the middle. A bit to pricey for what you get.

What a beautiful establishment!
Had the most special stay over the weekend with my partner, the mountain views were spectacular, the room had a great size spa - best we’ve ever used! The room size was awesome too and the mini bar was used as we didn’t go out except for dinner at the restaurant which was the best meal we’ve ever had. Also had a massage and facial their which was excellent too! The reception staff are so kind and caring, honestly will definitely be returning!

The scenery at the hotel was amazing! The rooms were lovely with a gas wood fire heater, bed and spa all in the one room was something very different and really added to the mood of the room. Staff were wonderful and friendly, check in was a breeze.

Very expensive for very little. Large spa type bath takes up huge amounts of space by window. Not sure if views of poorly tended grounds and gardens full of weeds are anything to write home about. Dated and taking advantage of lack of competition.

There were some real positives to this place. We liked that it was outside of the town which meant it was quiet. The staff were outstanding especially about cleaning the room with our toddlers sleep. There were a Few negatives. The shower was extremely hard to get the temperate right and it would go from searing hot to freezing cold every time someone else in another room used water. The air con is set to 22° and you can’t change the temp because multiple rooms run off the one unit. The staff did come in and change it as no one else was staying in the other rooms but the fan was so low it almost didn’t make any difference and there was quite a bit of noise heard from the room next door but not from unruly guests just general talking and Tv noise. We loved the location and the property but there are a few opportunities to make this place even better.
