Best Service in Town!
Awesome staff. The guest house is very clean and although the beds are a bit hard, it is comfortable. Food awesome. Upon arrival the manager takes you on an island tour which is really helpful. Activities are easily organised as is resort island visits. Nothing is too much trouble. 100% you will not be disappointed by choosing this guest house to stay at!

Great for the price but manage expectations
The Whale Shark Inn was very nice and the staff was awesome. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable but the room was nice and very clean. The island itself was ok. It is not a resort island so you are restricted on what you can do and what you can wear (for women) and there is only one beach (not very nice) women can go and wear a swimsuit. The restaurants on the island were great and the people were kind. There were lots of excursions to go on and other resort islands you can go visit and have the "resort" experience. Just depends on your preferences, though.

Whale shark in was AWSOME! The staff was amazing and everything was done over the top. Everything was super convient. Nafiz had everything organized for us and was most helpful. We would recommend this hotel for anyone!

Excellent property
This property knows what five-star services. From my first initial interaction, and email in advance to my departure, Nafiz was courteous, and went above and beyond to make sure I was able to see everything I wanted to see. This is a very small island and tourism has just recently come here, but the locals are embracing it and very welcoming. Nafiz works hand in hand with a restaurant and another guest house to make sure that everyone that stays there gets an opportunity to see everything, and that all meals are applied to the room, so no scrambling for money. I had the incredible opportunity of snorkeling with a whale shark, but the diving was to die for. Sawesome lot's of turtles and reef sharks, and went to a resort that was close to watch them Feed The Stingrays. All of these suggested to me byour Nafiz. He is an incredible host, and the people working for him are exceptional

Mysigt och fantastiskt!
Väldigt bra skött och en fantastiskt trevlig ö. Väldigt glad att jag valde en local island och inte en resort. Folket på Maamigili var väldigt trevliga ock välkomnande. Har rest över hela världen och maldivianerna är fantastiska. De hade jag Inter haft chansen att träffa på en resort... Perfekt dykning, fantastisk snorkling med valhajar och en fin strand. Fisketuren i solnedgången var väldigt rolig och grillandes efteråt smakade hur gott som helst. Jag kommer tillbaka!

숙소는 매우 깨끗 침대는 너무 딱딱해서 불편 성의없는 직원
처음 도착하자마자 숙소가 참 깔끔하다, 주인장 분께서 친절하시다고 생각했습니다. 차와 커피, 물을 항상 제공해주시는 것이 맘에 들었습니다. 그러나 침대가 너무 딱딱해서 잠 잘 때 불편했습니다. 저희는 이곳에 고래상어가 유명하다고 해서 다이빙을 신청했는데(다이빙 샵은 이 섬에 딱 하나였고, 숙소에서도 예약할 수 있었다), 약속한 날 날씨가 안 좋아 취소되었습니다. 이미 기다리기로 한 장소에서 미리 한참을 기다렸는데, 결국엔 동네 주민으로 보이는 분한테 취소됐다고 전달만 받아서 살짝 기분이 상했습니다. 이 섬에서 모든 액티비티를 위해선 숙소 주인을 통해야했습니다. 결국은 숙소 주인도 이 사실을 알고 있었다는 거죠.. 그럼에도 불구하고 이 점에 대해서는 한마디도 먼저 언급을 안 하시더라고요. 저희가 먼저 내일이라도 날씨 좋으면 알려달라고했습니다. 그런데 다음날 아침 다이빙 시간이 가까워 지는데도 아무 말이 없더라고요. 여차저차 저희가 다이빙 샵으로 서둘러 확인해 달라고 해서 가까스로 다이빙은 했지만 참.. 비싼돈주고 마미길리 섬에서 그 흔하다는 거북이와 고래상어도 한마리도 보지 못했습니다ㅋㅋ 후한 후기 믿고 갔다가 너무 후회했습니다. 전반적으로 저는 이 숙소의 경영 방식이 허술하다고 느꼈습니다. 직원도 숙소 청소하고 아침 차려주는 것 외에는 관여하고 싶지 않아보이는 듯 했습니다(숙소주인이 계속 리셉션에 있으면 직원에게 물어보지도 않았을텐데 말이죠).직원에게 뭘물어볼때마다 항상 첫 답변이 'I don't know.'였습니다. 주변이들에게 이 섬과 이 숙소는 추천해주고 싶지 않네요. 다른 곳에 이 숙소보다 저렴하고 더 좋은 곳 많다고 말 할겁니다.
