I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights in an ocean front view room. Pros: -location -views -cleanliness -has netflix (living room area only) -basic kitchen tools for cooking/eating. -rooftop patio (very nice to hang out, watch the sunset and do bbq). Cons: -no A/C, so summer time you might not enjoy it. Although it has a ceiling fan in the bedroom, mine was a little noisy. -not soundproof, you can hear footsteps from the suite above and the noise outside the building. -if you like hot showers like i do, sorry to dissappoint. Overall: -i did enjoy my stay. Very satisfied with the place and suite i booked. I'm definitely coming back. The cons I wrote, didn't really bother me as much since i'm a night owl. That was why I'm still giving them a 5 star! 😁 Was also able to check-in early (room was ready) since my flight was in the morning.

Great Vintage Room on Venice Boardwalk
Vintage room with awesome amenities. Excellent customer service. But parking is a challenge unless you’re willing to pay. But overall great location, room, and experience. I’d stay here again.

If you are looking for a hotel with bar, restaurant, gym and business center, this is no the place for you. However, it is spotless clean, great location at the beach, has spacious 1 bedroom suites with full kitchen. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. We found easily street parking a few blocks away. No need to pay the overpriced parking next door.

Unique and perfectly located retro-hotel right on Venice Beach. Staff was efficient, friendly and very attentive to guests. The rooms are delightful; wood floors and a kitchenette. Walk right on the beach. Parking is expensive if you park next to the hotel, but worth it.

Convenient and easy for a night or two!
The hotel was in a great location right on the beach, and next to the most darling cafe I went to work at. I came to the area for a work event which was also only a few blocks away, so again this hotel was super convenient. Rooftop was super cute on a beautiful day, and the staff was really wonderful. Parking is bit too much IMO so I was thankful to luck out with street parking a few streets away, and I felt safe enough to walk to/from my car in the morning and early evenings. I was locked out of the hotel one night due to key card issue at like 1AM and thankfully the after-hours team was so helpful so quickly in getting me in within 5 minutes of me calling the number. Bed was comfortable and the ceiling fan was definitely needed for the room's humidity, but sleeping was a bit hard with the window open because people was yelling outside all night. So save for the noise challenge, the hotel itself and its accommodations were lovely! I would def stay again.

If you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay, this is NOT it. It’s located in a very busy loud area. Busy early morning until very late at night. No AC on the property, so very very hot during summer nights. The benefit of staying there is super close to the beach and tons of restaurants around. Easy to get to the airport

The property was unique and the kitchen in the room was a nice convenience. Although, the grocery store is about a mile away to stock up on food. The beachfront property had a great views. You have to trek awhile across the sand to get to the ocean. They have a homeless population around the area but we didn’t feel unsafe. Be aware after dark. Going out to eat is expensive around the area. The hotel didn’t offer many accommodation for water activities. FYI, bring a good pair of walking shoes and sunscreen.

The vibe was just immaculate. The yellow wall in our studio room was so cute, just added to the bliss. The view of the beach from our window was perfect. Could see the sunset every night if you weren't outside. So close to Santa Monica, where we spent most of our time. Everyone is so nice! Defiantly would stay again.

I love Venice Suites. I consider it my Private Honeycomb Hideout. Staff is great. On this particular stay, my toilet backed up in the middle of the night. The next morning at 7:30, I told the man at the front desk. He said the plumber would not be available until 8:30. That was a problem for me. After driving 7 miles home to use the bathroom, the plumber still hadn’t showed up. The man at the front desk did other another room to go use the bathroom.

If you are not a marijuana smoker, this place is not for you. The smell of pot smoke from the neighboring venue fills the room. The room was dirty. The pull out bed in the sofa was ripped up and dirty, dirty needles also by the premises.

The building is dated, but clean. It’s a great location for walking and bike riding with lots of good restaurants nearby. We were pleasantly surprised and would stay here again. It was worth the value of the room.
