Room hasn’t been dusted for a long time.. Extra blanket on the floor and was full of dust. No drinking water. Tiny double room. No heater. A small carvan cottage would be better than this

Location was great for what we wanted to do. Walking distance of pier and pier seafood restaurant. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were very small with only one small chair. Verandahs had beautiful view but looked tired and a little dirty.

Have stayed here before. Fantastic old pub in great location. However, this visit I was very disappointed with the room I was first given - small and no daylight or access to fresh air at all. Was moved to another room - tiny but better. Was told hotel was fully booked but next day, different staff member, different attitude. He tried very hard and managed to move us to a much better room at no extra cost. The success of your stay shouldn't depend on which staff member you deal with! Ate at the restaurant - appeared to be short staffed but food was wonderful and same helpful staff member worked very hard to serve and organise, despite the lack of staff. He made our stay fantastic despite the shaky start!
