The front desk staff were great, friendly and attentive to solving issues, but unfortunately the sound travel between rooms was awful and the key card entry system to the rooms seemed generally faulty resulting in having to change rooms and even the second room had the same issue. The sound issue would be a deal breaker against booking again for an otherwise reasonable hotel.

During the first night a male member of staff woke us up in the middle by letting himself into our room at midnight and waking us up. We literally screamed and so he shut the door and left. He then mumbled something about ice, but I’m not sure why he was looking for an excuse when the fact is he should be knocking anyway. Did the ordeal end there? No. After bolting the door and having to manually ensure our own safety, we finally got back to sleep, or my friend did at least, I was less receptive to sleeping in an area where any male member of staff can apparently walk in to to young girls rooms. lol and behold a phone call from reception. A bit late I thought, but perhaps a misguided attempt from someone on reception to apologise. Oh no, someone now giving me the third degree wondering why we were in the room we had paid for. Eventually they hung up only to once again call back demanding to know my name and basically implying we had done something wrong. Next morning we go down after a sleepless and horrible night. The MAN (for we had only encountered male members of staff thus far) barely apologise deferring accountability to the booking system and claiming their had been a mistake and the system had said the room was empty. Doesn’t answer why a random male member of staff was entering the room after midnight or why he then lied about ice; it must have been a lie if this new truth is to be believed. The situation worsened but Hilton won’t allow me to write more.

This hotel is in a quiet lovely part of London, just 2minutes away from an overground station, making it extremely convenient for public transportation. One thing about our room; the ventilation. There was poor ventilation and when we would come back from our day’s outing, it would smell like cigarette. Probably a neighboring room that was smoking indoors when they shouldn’t have been. But it really gave us a headache. And the door handle to our bathroom wasn’t properly attached. Other than that, pleasant staff, lovely architecture. I would probably go back given the chance. But I would ask for a room with a view that’s for sure.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood which means 15 minutes walk from places to eat at and Fulham train station. I booked two rooms. When we got there around 5 or 6pm, one of our rooms was not available yet and we were informed that it was being cleaned. We were given drink vouchers for the inconvenience. 10-15minutes after checking in, we were given the keys to the other room. The front desk clerk that helped us was nice and friendly. We stayed for 3 nights and we had trouble with our keys all three days.

Stayed there six days and the whole time only 1 of the 2 elevators worked. For being a 6 story building, it had long waits for the Eldridge’s. As a 72 year old grandmother it was difficult to go up and down the stairs

Convenient - but don’t count on staff to know area
Good place to stay - reasonably priced, convenient, quiet and clean. Convenient location. Good restaurants in the area - walkable. Includes 2 excellent pubs. TESCO across the street. Taxi stand around the corner. Train station within 2 blocks. Hotel within hour’s drive of Heathrow 35 min early morning. Popular area for shared rides. Did not try hotel’s pricey breakfast or eat at the hotel restaurant which doesn’t look inviting. Sadly, average hotel staff. Depends on who’s at front desk. Last morning at 7 am the clerk went out to find us a taxi - much appreciated. Other times staff knew nothing about the area. They had no knowledge of 2 outstanding pubs within 15 min walk. No info about underground. No knowledge of local activities and sites. This is wrong. Staff should be very familiar with area.

The rooms were big and comfortable. The staff was very nice and upgraded us for free. One of the best hotels I stayed at during my visit.
