The 6th floors rooms have terrible washrooms. It's basically open concept washroom with a shower curtain so when you shower the whole washroom gets flooded. When you use the toilet your feet are surrounded by water

We were in Vegas for our aunts 99th birthday. Family from all over were arriving. We arrived from Canada. Room 31827 was assigned to us - the room smelled of Pee - sewer - we were unsure what it was but since we were extremely exhausted with flight delays etc we managed a night there before we reached out to front desk to change rooms as we woke up n I thought I was nauseated with the stench. Front desk Anthony (manager?) was smug. With no apology they moved us - with no courtesy to ask if we needed assistance to move - with no care that we were besides ourselves with the stench - it almost felt like they knew something was wrong with the room. They said maintenance would look into it n gave us another room without any apology - courtesy upgrade or care for the inconvenience. Well that night our older cousin arrived n lo n behold was assigned the same room. My husband was quick to point out we had moved ourselves out of the room because of the stench. They assured us it had been looked after. So we took her up to the room 31827 and as soon as we opened the door the foul smell was there in our face to greet us. SHAME on you SAHARA. shameless behaviour and customer service too is all I can say. Wonder how many more guests were subjected to the same treatment in the hope they would survive the stench. Definitely not returning and definitely sharing our experience with everyone so neither family or friends don’t book with Sahara. Too bad - The room we were moved to was decent

Really nice compared to the older hotels and not as smokey in the casino wish there was a buffet or more dining options had to uber most places since its far off from the center of the strip

Very nice place to stay. I was a little hesitant Because people Said this was an old hotel But to my surprise It was very elegant And nicely updated. It is at the end of the strip So we did have to drive/uber everywhere But because of the price difference I would Definitely Stay there again.

We arrived the hotel at 2:30 pm , expecting normal checkin time was 3 pm for every hotel , but I was told their check in time was 4pm. We had to pay extra us$25 to do an early check in. The room we stayed was smelled with weeds particularly in the toilet. Horrible ! We had 4 adults but given us 2 plastic cups , 2 tiny bottles of water and 2 towels. First night, the house keeper gave us extra towels , water and plastic cups. That was good . But on second night, the girl Jennifer told us to get the water ourselves from the bar. She said there might be charge for extra water. The protocol had only 2 plastic cups and 2 towels for each room. She promised they would deliver extra towels and cups for us after answering but never saw that happen that night. I had to use the hand towel to take my bath. The room design was bad. A/C directly blew the air to my head while sleeping. The sink in the toilet was very shallow. I couldn't find any good points about this hotel.

Really recommend this for couples and groups of friends really quick easy to understand the hotels ins and outs, easy parking always with spots next to the elevators and does have the monorail station . Not really something for kids mostly adults friendly. Also great price range, will book again in a near future.

Loved the Sahara and would stay again. Checking in and getting your bags is slow so plan for that. No automated check in. Loved how this hotel had everything but was quieter than those right in the heart of the strip. The hotel and casino areas were well separated and everything was labelled and easy to find which is huge in Vegas. The connected monorail station was great. The room was surprisingly dead silent at all times of the day. Perfect for those who want the Vegas experience but also relax. Recommend staying within the hotel and using a ride service or the monorail to get around. Attempted to walk down west Sahara Ave just above the hotel and it was extremely unsafe.

The hotel was nice but my room was right next to billboards, no electrical outlet, lamp, or phone charger near the bed, the bathroom floor would get very wet due to no shower door. Shower curtain wasn’t enough to keep the water from going on the floor, and there were only five channels that weren’t worth watching.

My room was hot and humid. The air didn’t circulate at all. Smelled like old gym shoes. My reservation was for a Marra King and I was given an Alexandria King. When I asked for my reservation to be honored I was told there were no other options.
