Good size apartment for family of 6. A quick overnight stay but it wasn’t particularly clean. The carpet needs replacing urgently and a coat of paint wouldn’t go astray.

A Delightful Surprise
I was pleasantly surprised with my accomodation. It had a large living/kitchen area with a two seater lounge and an additional two seater sofa bed. The second room had a double and toilet and shower. There was a stove and microwave and crockery, cutlery and coking pots and implements. The bed was very comfortable and the unit was cleanm overall. The management were friendly and the area was quiet> There are no shops in the area but as it is self contained it can be prepared in the apartment. I had a very enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Whilst the apartments are a little old, they are well maintained and are very reasonably priced. The pool was a particular highlight and my daughter loved it. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The place is also just down the road from an amazing beach.

We loved the pool & spa! The location was great, so close to the beach! Apartment was comfortable, had everything we needed. It could really do with new carpets and old couch replaced. .... plus the heater smelt terrible when turned on.....

The apartments are older built so power points are minimal. However we will make a note of this in any upgrade in the future.

Our room was disgusting. Filthy stains on the floors, smelly couches with rips & holes, mould in the shower, cobwebs, dirty/sandy carpet with rubbish under the beds. We told the manager at the front desk about all of the above, she came and had a look at our room and offered to have the cleaners come and ‘give it the once over’. They came alright but still left the cobwebs and dirt around the sink. The manager also said she’d ask the owner if we could have a refund.....we’re still waiting to hear back from her on that one.....despite my second enquiry on the phone. Easily the worst place I’ve ever stayed in....anywhere in the world. All this for $235 a night!!

We apologize for the way you perceived the condition of your room, the room had been cleaned the morning of your arrival and we are aware of the issue with the one couch, and are in the process of having it replaced. As you can expect during high traffic times, some items may be overlooked, however we have implemented even stricter cleaning standards for our professional cleaners and strive to provide a comfortable, clean 3 1/2 star accommodation service. Our terms and conditions state that if cancellation occurs with 14 days of the booking dates then the deposit or entire fee for the duration of the stay is no refundable as we have held the accommodation for you and declined other bookings. In this instance, management were not notified of your early departure and as such unfortunately no refund can be offered.

The managers whole family made me feel welcome. I spent an extended stay and enjoyed every day. The pool, the spa everything was amazing. Fellow guests a pleasure too.

Dated - but family room is spacious
We stayed for one night in a nice spacious family suite. Although the rooms are quite dated, they were clean and comfortable. They do need to spend a little on fixing up a few things. The sheer curtains on the windows were torn but the roller blinds were fine. The air conditioning was programmed to shut off after an hour which made night sleeping a little difficult as it was quite hot and stuffy, and for a place that had a lovely pool, its a good idea to provide a clothes airier in the room for towels etc. All in all, we would definitely stay again whilst passing through Lakes.

We do have a clothes line available for guests, however a clothes airier in the apartment is a great suggestion. Nice place and very close to beach and park.
Great and affordable place to stay... the only issue for us was the toilet...it was clean but there was foul drain smell. Otherwise neat, tidy and cosy place to stay at an affordable price.

Nice view, cosy - quiet hotel.
Overall, the hotel and the surrounding area is nice, quiet. however, there was an unexpected rules from the hotel which does not allow the guest to have crab inside the apartment, empty the rubbish bin, or cleaning up the dish, otherwise, the fee will apply to your credit card ($50). I think the hotel should state all rules clearly at the time of booking to avoid the customer's dissatisfaction.

Great little one bed open plan apt. Check in was easy, nice pool and spa and good BBQ facilities. Is a little out of town from Lakes Entrance on a quiet road to Lake Bunga. Very clean and well maintained.

Definitely not paradise- maybe 20 years ago!
Very very expensive - everything was old and very used.Wifi is free but it doesn't work! The price sad $200 before booking and when paying it went up to $340 and that is not worth that. Definitely not Paradise!!

Accommodation was clean, spacious and good value. Lovely outdoor area with pool and BBQ. Hosts were super friendly and gave us loads of advise on local fishing. P.S, we did manage to catch enough for dinner on our last day back to Melbourne :) Thanks again.

Disappointing Paradise
Great hosts. But I was not feeling well so pulled down the lounge and it had dirty linen and the mattress was disintegrating . It looked very unclean. The queen bed was very comfortable and clean. Just hope it was an over site for future travellers.

Fantastic value for money.
It's a little way out of town, but if you have a car, and don't mind a short 5 min drive, it's a terrific place to stay. The gentleman was fantastic when we checked in. Friendly and enthusiastic. We used the swimming pool and the warm jacuzzi and they were spot on. The rooms were big and spacious, good views of the ocean, lots of natural light and mirrors in the rooms. The beds were comfortable, good quality curtains. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The motel is like a remodelled 2 storey 1970's style house in the middle of nowhere - but all very comfy.

We were in room 7 which stunk like rotten fish guts. It was hard to breath and left a terrible taste in our mouth. When I went to the desk they gave me some air freshener but indicated that they knew it stunk. Although the surfaces were clean, the carpets and couch were filthy. It's disgusting that they let anyone stay in that room let alone charge for it! Not happy.

Only stayed one nite but had everything we needed. Full size fridge, large living area, excellent cooking facilities, communal washing machine, pool and spa which kids loved and located in a really quiet area. Rooms were quite spacious also.

Three nights stay gave us ample time to stroll along numerous beaches fringing Bass Strait, see the mouth of the Snowy River, discover the beauty of Royal Cave at Buchan and explore the inland waterways at Lakes Entrance.
