Was a great experience!! The place is so close to the beach and a few minutes walk to the harbor and market!! We definitely recommend this place for staying at Maui !! Security point 3 pools, tennis courts and a lot more fun

Perfect Location
We really enjoyed the area and the close proximity to Front St and other popular areas. Plenty of restaurant options and great shopping. We used Karen, as recommended, to book a scuba trip and her communication was fantastic. The property was nice and it was great to have the kitchen and laundry. Loved having 3 bathrooms.

Disappointing and not recommended....
We had a disappointing experience at the Aloha Cabana. Not sure who wrote the good reviews, but they are so different from our experience. Wish we had seen the one star review before we booked. It was spot on.I did offer to discuss this with Rebekah before posting. She did say they were working to improve the experience. While they are doing so, I hope they change their descriptions for a more realistic expectation. An expensive mistake on our part staying there. It started when we arrived to a broken sink faucet held together with duct tape and laying in the sink. It wasn’t useable and wasn’t fixed till later the following day. The living area isn’t comfortable and wasn’t a place to relax. Nor was the veranda. There is VERY loud street noise, a lot of debris and cushions that were very dirty and bug ridden. The front bedroom has a very loud A/C unit that sounds like an airplane engine is starting up every time it kicks on. You can’t open the windows because of the road noise, plus the window bracket to open the window was broken. There is a half inch space at the bottom of the front door allowing for bugs to come in. There are holes in the granite sink top from previous fixtures and same in the shower head. The sheets are not fine bed linens as described. Definitely not exotic upgrades as stated in the description. Pumana is in a great location and close enough to Lahaina to walk if your in for a bit of a stroll. Hope they can figure out how to get the cabana fixed and up to what they promise!

Clean and close to down town Lahaina
We all enjoyed staying at this two bedroom three bath condo. It had everything we needed for the week and we were quite comfortable and very happy with the price. It's nice having a washer and dryer in the unit too. There are three outdoor pools. We enjoyed the pool on the ocean so much, we didn't even get a chance to check the other two out.

AC out for two nights, lots of small issues: Not recommended for the price
We arrived late on a Saturday evening and the AC in the master did not work. Although it was late, I called Rebekah, the manager, and she was very responsive. She sent over a repair person on the following day, a Sunday, and then when it wasn't repaired, she arranged to have a new unit purchased and installed on Monday, which was Christmas Eve. She was responsive and I believe managed to address the situation as quickly as was possible. We do appreciate her promptness and attentiveness to the matter. Our concerns came when I asked Rebekah for some consideration regarding a partial refund. We paid a premium price for the week, with the expectation that we would be able to be comfortable in the unit. My 83 year old mother in law spent two sleepless nights, unable to breathe well or stay cool with the windows closed. The condo backs close to the highway and the noise from the highway makes it impossible to comfortably sit outside or have any windows open--anytime--day or night. Rebekah did offer a whale watch to us as compensation for the inconvenience. This was not something my mother-in-law could do nor did she want to do this. Ultimately, we paid a hefty nightly rate for a unit that was significantly uncomfortable for one of our party for close to one-third of our trip. We believe it is reasonable to expect a partial refund given the master was not functional and comfortable as advertised. This is our primary concern and will be the basis for our poor review. Our request for a refund was refused--Rebekah suggested we should understand that maintenance is sometimes required. There are other minor issues that are minor, but do reflect the difference between a 3-4 vs. a 5 star experience: 1. Beach towels: only 4 in a unit that sleeps six 2. AC in the second room is quite noisy 3. Living room seating not conducive to seating six people comfortably 4. Dining table seats 4 not 6 5. The toiletries are quite sparse--a small shampoo bottle in each bathroom and very little toilet paper for a one week stay for 6. We had to go out and buy shampoo and toilet paper after three days. 6. The aforementioned highway noise--really means you cannot enjoy the area outside the unit or have windows open. The unit is set up for 4 adults or two adults and perhaps up to 3-4 kids, but not 6 grown people--my two teenage children are bigger than me, so all of us in the unit felt quite crowded. Making this more clear on the site would be helpful to prospective gues

Memorable stay on Maui!
​We had a wonderful and memorable stay at ​Aloha Cabana in Lahaina. Lisa was a wonderful host- she provided quick and helpful responses to questions when planning our trip and during our stay, including when we had some last minute changes. We were so grateful for all of her advice and help! The accomodations were perfect. We loved the ocean views and the accessible location. We found the apartment to be comfortable and have everything we needed, from cookware and kitchen supplies, to bath towels and extra blankets, to beach supplies like snorkels and boogie boards. We slept well, ate well, and overall had everything we could have hoped for on our hawaii beach vacation!
