"We were greeted with a warm welcoming greeting by . He was very helpful in giving directions and recommending dining options. The room was very spacious. We also enjoyed a beautiful view. Water pressure was great. The windows were able to be opened. The morning breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. Thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful town."

"Amazing hotel, very badly let down by the staff. There is absolutely no attention to detail. They are all lovely but they tell you as little as possible unless you ask. No offer of ski lockers, ski passes, spa info etc. Dining room has amazing views but again no attention to detail. Eg.. ordered a dessert for sharing & it arrived with no plates, no cutlery. You have to ask for absolutely everything which I wouldn’t mind if I was in a low budget accommodation which this is not. I would stay again purely for the ski in ski out access and views. "

"We LOVED 🥰 our stay here!! Wonderful place in the middle of heaven! The staff is SO helpful and friendly, it made a difference for us. Excellent breakfast. Best room we’ve had in a long time! The skylight window has a view on the waterfalls on top of the cliffs by the hotel. We’ve never been in such a beautiful place and we’ve travelled A LOT before. We HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Conveniently located right off the cruise from Flam to Gudvangen. Then the bus to your next destination is right next to the hotel. So peaceful! The room was very clean and comfortable. Good wifi in room. If you are in the area, you have got to stay there ☺️"

"Our room in the budget hotel had a wonderful view of the waterfalls. The room was small but perfectly adequate for our needs. The bathroom facilities are shared but as we appeared to be the only guests it was not a problem and the showers are fantastic. It is only a very short walk to the ferry and bus terminal. Meals are available at the more upmarket sister hotel. The nearby Viking Village is a must see."

"Though the room was fairly small, our expectations were exceeded. The staff was exceptional. The food in the restaurant was excellent and it was the lowest price that we saw in Norway. Thoroughly enjoyable. Not 5 stars but more than we expected. "
