5 stars services from hotels staffs with 5 stars facilities. We have signed up as membership to continue to choose UNIZO as our next trip. My husband dropped Icoca card inside lift groundstairs, the following morning we received phone call from hotel staff to collect it back. Wondering staff members and management.

Hotel is very clean, friendly staff & close to a very decent 24 hours restaurant outside of the hotel & walking distance to subway stations. Perfect central location to anywhere you may need to explore kyoto. Absolutely fantastic! Only thing missing is an public onsen bath in the premises but i still would highly recommend.

The location is very convenient, just a 6-8 mins walk to the subway station. There are also several restaurants and convenience stores within 3 mins walk. The staffs were very respectful and friendly.

This is the second time I have stayed at Hotel Unizo. This time I stayed on the Women Only floor. It was very pleasant and there was a nice lounging area with a coffee/tea maker and magazines as well as table and chairs and several lounge chairs.

Beautiful and relaxing. The staff were great and the Onsen was incredible. Great location. The rooms are small but very nicely appointed with tatami mats and and soothing decor. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again.

Large hotel, very clean, efficient service. Small room as typical for Japan but everything provided. Location central, access for basic amenities, buses, trains good. Reception staff very helpful. Would book again.

The hotel was comfortable and well presented - the reception area felt a little cheap but the room was lovely. I definitely enjoyed this hotel room more than my hotel in Tokyo, which was with a different company. The amenities were great and the only thing I think would have improved things would have been a second cushion provided in the room. Instructions to the air con in English would have also been appreciated as I has no idea what to do with it.

stayed here many times already, the unizo brand means clean, modern and gives you a unique Kyoto feel. Locations are usually very good near shopping etc. only downside is rather small rooms which is typical in Japan anyway.

Hotel is at a great location. There is a bus stop, a cafe, 7-eleven and restaurants in right by the hotel. What I didn’t like is the size of the room which was very small.

I stayed at Unizo Kyoto for 5 nights. I was a bit nervous before coming because of some negative reviews so I must say that I was surprisingly pleased! I’d like to tell most readers who can’t decide whether to choose this hotel or not, not to pay too much attention to the negative reviews. Here’s why... yes rooms in Japan are small but the single one I had wasn’t tiny, and was relatively big compared to other rooms I booked in different cities of Japan. It has everything you need, it’s comfy, it’s clean, cozy. The location is amazing, just in front of the building, you have direct buses that take you everywhere you want to go : kinkaku-ji, arashiyama, Kyoto station etc. The staff has been amazing and so helpful. Honestly, this is my second time in Kyoto and this stay has been wonderful in every way. Thank you Unizo. I strongly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back myself!

Hot summer in Kyoto
It was a clean new hotel. Room was tiny but comfortable. There were too many things( air cleaner, pants presser, stool etc.) and made the room even smaller. The location was very convenient to go anywhere.
