Hotel was lovely with fantastic facilities. Location was not very central but there is a train station very close by. Lobby bar staff and housekeeping were great but check in and restaurant staff were not as attentive.

Sorry but not a great experience
Checked out after one night out of a 1 week stay and moved to a different hotel and no refund option… Poor service was the main issue, lack of hot water in the room and the hotel rooms are dated and a bit knackered which is not what I’d expect from the Sofitel. Will stay with Sofitel in the future but not this hotel, sorry.

I checked in to my room where there was no shampoo and no shower gel. Some of electricity plugs were not working I asked for a big bucket of ice and I received a small one I asked to make up my room and I came back after 3 hours and the room was not done

5 stars hotel but 3 stars cleanliness. The pillow & bed sheet had quite a few stain spots, bath towel also has stain in it. Amenities not replenish in the first day when we checked in. The bed & pillows are too soft & the “sink in” feeling not so comfortable. The aircon noise was too loud & quite disrupting our sleep. There’s a very obvious big water leaking stain on the ceiling at the aircon area. The breakfast also taste very average but quite pricey. Other than these, the staffs are actually very nice & friendly. Hopefully the cleanliness & facilities can be better improve to match the 5 stars status.

Still one of the best.
The room was just as great as when I last visited in 2019. The pillows have definitely improved (I used to have to as for a firmer pillow as theirs was too soft); now they give you one firm one (not a foam pillow) and one soft one. Service was just as great, staff just as helpful and attentive. Definitely one of my favourite places to stay in KL. Highly recommended for its price point, location and service, if you choose not to stay in the heart of KL City Centre.

The hotel is surrounded on shopping n access the transport is at ease. Encounter with the hotel checkin was smooth n fast. Explaining the detail on the checkin n parking. The room that was booked for me, good impression upon entering, walkway to the hotel level n to the level is clean n filled with perfume. Room was big, walking around the room / shower / work desk is comfortable. Shower n bathtub is big and comfort to use. Access to the car park, was lead by the hotel staff at the lobby, and it is easy to locate the car. Hotel staff are friendly n approachable to get information.

Check in issue
Was only able to check in at 8.30pm because my room was not ready yet. But they agreed to let me check out later at 2pm the next day. Room's comfy but the coffee machine was a bit dusty. Overall the stay's good.

1st day- wait 1 hr to check-in(arrived at 3pm), given free welcome drinks but still need to wait for 30min for drinks. Room no floor mats, bathrobes and toiletries for one person only. Only sent when requested. 2nd day: no towels and floor mats left in the room after housekeeping. Reason: too busy. 3rd day: finally ok.

We're quite disappointed with the hotel parking as even with the special rate, the total cost of parking per day and per entry is still expensive. We only know on this paying requirement on the check-in date and the hotel has informed us that the parking lot has been shares with another building/ company, but shouldn't the hotel absorb this fee for the guest that has paid to stay in this 5-star hotel.

Checkin waiting time is long. Service request response is slow. The bedsheet is not clean and it’s worn out. Even if the staff changed a new sheet, the new bedsheet given is torn out and there are stains on it.

The hotel is new. However, each entry to the hotel is rm13-15 even if you are a guest in the hotel. I had to go in and out of the hotel and that cost a lot. Hotel claims the car park does not belong to them and therefore the flat rate of rm13. Poor explanation on the rates by staff as they are not even sure of the rates. My advise is not to stay in this hotel if you drive. Moreover, the sink is easily clogged and there is not safe box in the room.
