comfortable room, excellent location, good breakfast. however, the water pressure of water is not sufficient.

Overall, we are very happy with this hotel. Great views and great amenities. One unfortunate pitfall, in our experience, was that the wall was very thin and our neighboring room probably had 4 people in the room and was very loud. They asked security to talk to them but this only stopped them for 2 minutes. We called again and they never helped us again, which was disappointing because this was now past midnight and we were not able to sleep! However, nice decors and breakfast was very good - lots of variety! We loved the noodle and milk tea stations.

We stayed at Panan for 5 nights and our stay was very pleasant and peaceful. Hotel staff were extremely polite, helpful and friendly. We took the room with personal pool and the extra bucks were well spent. Having said that the common pool, which was the centrepiece, was very enjoyable and definite highlight of the property. The location is perfect, only steps away from the beach and rite in the middle of best food and drink options. Breakfast spread had something for everyone and plenty for big eaters like myself. Only grievance can be the high prices of food and drinks offered in house and extremely small happy hours. Overall, big thumbs up, highly recommend.

We had a room with our own pool on level 1 and it was amazing. We had a view of the cliffs and the pool which was gorgeous. Total luxury. Our only concern was the staff weren’t very friendly and most seemed unhappy. A smile goes a long way in any language and the younger staff need to learn this. The language barrier didn’t help and in an upmarket hotel like the Panan I would have expected more. We met the GM who was an absolute delight and he’s got a big job ahead of him to train the younger staff in hospitality standards, which just weren’t up to scratch. The food was of a great standard with loads of variety & very tasty. Club sandwich was one of the best I’ve had. All in all we loved the Panan & will be back.

The rooms are modern, clean and pleasant to stay in. There was one day when we got back to our room and it hadn’t been cleaned, but someone came right away to do it

The staff were very helpful and nice . We were “upgraded” to a cliff view room with a view over the massive building site in front. This room (2508) was very noisy due to the building work starting at 7-8am every day and because of the location of this room you could hear all the noise from the strip until about 12pm. We asked to move but were told they were full and to ask the next day. No one wants to spend their holiday waiting until guests check out to see if there are any better rooms so we wore ear plugs. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious and modern. The beds were very comfy and the shower temperature was good. The shower pressure was quite weak but it wasn’t a problem for us. We had been contacted by the hotel prior to our arrival asking if we were a couple and if we were staying for a special occasion (birthday). They also asked about any dietary restrictions as we had paid for breakfast. I informed them that I am vegan and we are staying as a couple so it’s disappointing that we were given twin beds but housekeeping managed to put a sheet over to make it into one. I really don’t see the point in emailing prior if they disregard it. The breakfast was really disappointing. Lots of rice and meat. The only thing I could eat was fruit. It was a buffet breakfast but there wasn’t options like beans, mushrooms etc. The pools are nice but the drinks are very overpriced. There were no designs on the beds or any gesture for my birthday.

I reserve the delux room with hot tub.. I love it, as well the restaurant it is nice for breakfast and dinner

This is a good property in a great location but it’s surrounded by building work and charging extra for a sea view is a bit of a con when the sea is beyond the building work. One day they completely forgot to clean our room which is a big no from me when days are spent at the beach. The facilities are great for kids.
