Pro: Staff was very helpful Cons: the place was rundown, bugs like roaches and flies in the room, a lot of stairs to climb, bed sheets has bodily fluid stains, bed was hard... I guess you get what you pay for.

Very nice rooms and the views are great from your balcony of the island, beware of the monkeys though as they do like to jump between balconies

Incredible views and lovely stay
A really lovely place to stay. Although the rooms are up a fair few stairs, you get rewarded by the most incredible views of the island. The rooms are clean and modern. The only downside is the sound proofing is pretty poor so you hear people walking around and talking in the other rooms.

After a long walk through the town to the Papaya Phi Phi Resorts, we discovered the first level of the shabby looking hotel was at the top of a steep flight of stairs with a 2 story walk up to the check in area. We were already hot and sweaty after the walk from the ferry, and after hauling our luggage up these stairs I was drenched in sweat. Once at the top we were told that the room was not ready yet. We asked if we could change somewhere and asked if they would store our bags. Our bags were brought up another flight of stairs to a bathroom opening off the outdoor walkway. The bathroom was filthy and the floor soaking wet, so neither I nor my wife felt comfortable changing in the bathroom. As we walked back to reception we strolled past a literally mangy cat who was keeping residence at the hotel, his fur matted, falling off and his skin scabbed. We told them that our bags were on the walk way and they told us they would bring them up to the room for us. When we returned to the hotel and got our key, and began walking up the stairs/walkway, we found that all of our bags had been left outside, on the walkway, in front of the door to the filthy toilet. We then walked another 4 stories in a tropical heat up to our room where we opened the door to find a dirty, dank room, with furniture that looked like it had spent many years in in a freshman college dorm room. It in no way resembled the quality and cleanliness show on Travelocity. We stayed at another hotel that night.

Very basic property (you get what you pay for). Quite high up a steep hill its a but if a challenge to get to (the only way is on foot). Howevere, if you get a sea view its truly beautiful. The room was ckean, basic with no frills. Bathroom very basic. Air con in our room had issues - took ages to kick in and would lesk water when in use. I mentioned this to reception. They were going to fix it but didnt get around to it in my two night stay. Housecleaning did come after first night, we were still in the room at the time. They didnt come back. Worth staying for views if on a budget for a couple of days. Just be aware of the monkeys in the area - watched one trying to open our window to get into the room.

There are quite a few stairs to climb but you get used to it after a bit; the view from the room is amazing. Staff are friendly. Careful of monkeys that climb along balcony (they didn’t take any of our things that we left out, just be aware). Bed was a bit harder than we preferred. Overall worth money

All staffs were attentive and lovely, they offered a free pick up from the pier. The bedroom was clean and the location was perfect. Next to the center walking, but quite. Eventhough there are many stairs, the view of the balcony was amazing.

Amazing view but many steps
Nice little room with big enough fridge for a few bottles of water and other items. Room was clean and the ac worked well! Only downside was the stairs! 175 to our room! Great way to exercise with the amount of calories burned on each step but a killer in the heat! HOWEVER! The views from the room made up for it! Great sunsets on the balcony!!
