A comfortable hotel, with high standards of customer care, but slightly disappointed with facilities; we perhaps hadn't allowed for Kitzbuhel pricing, so maybe our expectations were higher than the hotel delivered.
Staff are all very helpful and pleasant; many with very good English (unsere Deutsh ist schrecklich).
The Spa is good for hot rooms (2* sauna, steam) and relaxation area but no indoor pool or Jacuzzi.
The rooms were small and no bath, no drawers, and insufficient storage generally for a one week holiday. We were in the modern part, which does not have the traditional Austrian heavy-timbered solid style of build we have enjoyed elsewhere. It would have been better if they had spotted a booking of more than one room, and put us on the same floor as our children.
The "gourmet" food was inferior to home cooking, but that is frequently the case. We were attracted by the fact they seem to specialise in catering for various dietary needs - including coeliacs; Gluten free bread was always available (on request), but there was always a little work to be done by us in finding gluten free options or negotiating variants on the fixed daily menu - rather than this need being logged and catered for by the hotel.
Service was a little slow when sat at an out of the way table.
It is a very pleasant walk through the town to the hotel, along the river - about a mile from the main Hahnenkamm lift on the other side of the town. The fireworks just after New Year were worth seeing.
