"Lovely stay at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The spa and pool, although small, is a great bonus. The pub, bar, larder and restaurant are nicely decorated. The fire place burning in the evenings is adding to the cosy atmosphere. The food is good. The hotel is also dog friendly. I was looking for something straightforward when I came to Kingussie to visit my daughter, and didn't expect this to be so pleasant. The room was large and comfortable and clean. There were no staff on site, but everything had been prepared and left ready for a comfortable stay. Entry was easy, with the PIN-code key locker. Breakfast was basic but perfectly adequate, and the coffee machine was great. There was plenty of room downstairs to eat and rest. For the price I paid, I would say this was about the best hotel experience I've had. Thank you!"
