We are sorry that you found our room so unpleasant to stay in, perhaps if you let us know about your discomfort we could have rectified the problems for you. If you had asked for a 11 am checkout the house maids would not have gone into your room. Again we are sorry that you could not communicate your troubles with us direct and felt you needed to vent online. As we are are an older motel, we do pride our self with cleanliness. Happy New Year

While Oceanview Motel rooms have ceiling fans as well as airconditioners we are of course happy to provide a fan for any room type, all you needed to do was ask :) For future reference we can provide fans, microwaves, extra floor heater, kitchen items, almost anything at all if requested.

Dear Anonymous, We are very sorry that your experience with us was not up to your standards, we have never advertised that any of our units have 2 bathrooms because they do not. As you booked with a online agency we have no control how they advertise our accommodation. As I explained to you on your arrival. We do not appreciate your statement of Fake Hotel Description as this is not something that we do. Again we are sorry that your experience was so terrible.

We appreciate your feedback, all comments are of course followed up with staff and maintenance. We are quite aware Seaview is an older motel, there is nothing we can do about that, however we can take particular attention to cleaning and most importantly personal service is always a priority so everything is done to make our guests comfortable. Outside lights can be switched off once other guests have safely returned in the evening, our staff are happy to help if asked. Seaview was the first motel on Kangaroo Island and enjoys the best location in town, quiet street, elevated sea views, free BBQ facilities, parking right outside your room, and still just a step across the road from the main street conveniences. There are no 'new' motels on Kangaroo Island and our rooms are quite good value in comparison to other properties. Thank you for your time :) and we do hope you enjoyed our beautiful island as much as we love living here!
