Our stay at hillview cottages in The Cottage was so relaxing refreshing serene quiet just a beautiful spot to unwind and destress from everyday life. We didn’t want to leave but we will definitely return to stay longer next time.

A fantastic place to unwind and relax. Beautiful picturesque setting with great views and an abundance of wildlife. Well worth a visit and looking forward to going again.

Safe, Quiet and close to town, the scenery is breathtaking, large deck is great to hang out on and enjoy the beautiful countryside.

A lovely property with a beautiful view of the farms below. There was everything you could ever need in the cottage. We had a wonderful family stay.

We loved the daycore and beautiful surroundings, the views were amazing, bed was extremely comfortable and soft and the breakfast was beautiful with plenty of options which we never ate everything, we stayed in the church and will definitely be back for another stay, definitely good value for money and we also loved the spa bath, very relaxing

Tranquil with Amazing Views
Very lovely stay … the ‘dairy’ cottage was well equipped, clean with a lovely continental breakfast. Amazing views from everywhere: the lounge and dining room, outdoor area , bedrooms, and spa bath! So quiet and relaxing. I’ll be back!

Absolute peace, differs greatly from the in town motel scenario and good value for mony being able to cater for yourself with full kitchen facilities rather than having to buy meals

Winter warmer
Winter trip for peace and quiet. Electric blankets and the fire were most welcome, as was the free sample of local Port! We did not really want to even venture out as we were so cosy in the cottage.

The converted locally historic church was immaculate and creatively decorated with provincial touches and thoughtful gifts such as port for a nightcap, hand milled soap and bath salts, delightful patio with well manicured gardens looking out over farmland and cattle to the hillsides. The only sounds were birds, breeze and cows. The continental breakfast had all we could desire - fabulous enormous home grown eggs and gluten free meusli. We purchased wines from nearby wineries, bought cheese and crackers from Aldi, and a pizza from Aussie Pizzas to enjoy on the patio under the amazing starry sky.

Great Country getaway.
Only a short drive from the main town of Kingaroy. Everything you need; plus an amazing view. Lovely, friendly, staff. Great country feel. 2 year old had a wonderful time playing on the tree slide and spotting cows. We would definitely be happy to stay again. Thanks Hillview Cottages

Beautiful place , beautiful setting .
Amazing. Would come back again. A very lovely spot for a romantic getaway weekend or even a relaxing holiday stay away from the rat race . Enjoy the views from the patio as the sun sets in the west , then sit in the spa bath and open the blinds to look into the night time stars, and then after all that sit down to a glass or two of wine /port by the fire place .

We spent two nights in 'The Cottage' at Hillview Cottages. The cottage was charming, cosy and had fabulous views. There was nothing lacking with the facilities and the bed was very comfortable. The big skies, clean air and peace and quiet were even better than we hoped for. The double spa bath in the bay window has the same sweeping views as the large deck, perfect for indulging in a long hot soak and a good book on a cool afternoon. We were supplied breakfast, with eggs from the fat and happy farm chooks. Two nights is barely enough - if you need to recharge from city life, stay a week and explore the area. It's a wine and foodie paradise!

On arrival the owners where very accommodating and friendly. Close proximity to Kingaroy, we enjoyed the rural setting and with a great view, we would return if in the area again.

We went up when we had a cold snap and the place was warm and comfortable and it is the first place we stayed at that we didn't run out of wood for the fireplace all the little things matted (chocolates,breakfast cereal the fresh eggs) we will be back for the third time

Perfect choice for an overnight stay in Kingaroy - but would like to stay longer next time so that we have more time to enjoy this cute cottage. All creature comforts catered to, with the charm of a renovated church. Loved it.
