My bathroom was dirty upon arrival. It appeared as if it was cleaned prior. I would also like to pass along that my safety procedures on the door aren’t labeled correctly. The staff arriving was dismissive and not very friendly. But when checking out, the staff was kind and accommodating the following day, which I greatly appreciate. But I wouldn’t stay here again even though the property itself appears lovely.

A gem in Killarney
Hotel look lovely from the outside and gardens are attractive. The reception staff were extremely pleasant and efficient. Our room was ready on time. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and very tasty. The offer a takeaway breakfast roll for golfers or those heading out on a tour. Location for everything in Killarney is great. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Nice and clean
Good food, great service. Warm in room and loud outside. Walls are paper thin, others in the hotel kept us awake. No fault to the hotel

This hotel is a short way out of the main town, Good locality for visiting the the National Park. Room was fine. Nice lounge area. Staff were all very friendly.

We were checked in by an engaging and highly professional staff member Ethan, but it was downhill from there. Housekeeping failed to give us more than one towel on our second day and there were only a few sheets of toilet paper when we arrived, leaving us to have to use tissues for wiping. Worse yet was a fiasco with the the property’s water system. The entire water system was shut down during the last morning of our stay and they failed to restore it in time for guests checking out that morning, leaving us unable to wash, shower or even flush the toilet. Guests were milling about the lobby in disbelief. There was an explanation of weekend water-conserving measures in the room, but it did not clearly communicate that there would be no water the entire morning. Essentially, the hotel did not deliver essential services and should have issued at least partial refunds. The aforementioned Ethan and the restaurant (though we were kept waiting a half hour for our table) were the only redeeming factors keeping us from giving a single star but we surely would avoid this property in the future. We learned that there was a recent change in ownership/management and hope they can get their act together.

This property is a true gem if driving to Killarney. The food- both at breakfast and dinner- was superb! Bed was comfortable and they graciously assisted with our bags since they don’t have a lift. The staff was extremely cordial and we felt recognized when greeted consistently by our names. Would highly recommend this hotel!

We had a really amazing stay in Killeen House Hotel recently. The staff are so welcoming we felt at home. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and exceptionally clean. I will definitely be returning in the future.

A Lovely Stay in Killarney
Wow! What a lovely stay we had! The room and whole hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely splurge for a fancy dinner one evening if you can. There is so much to do in Killarney, we will definitely be back!

Wonderful hotel and outstanding owners!
We had a wonderful stay at the Killeen house hotel! Geraldine and Michelle went out of their way to make our stay great! We travelled with our one year old son and they went above ans beyond to care for us. The rooms were spacious and very cozy and the breakfast was delicious!

Location was absolutely amazing. Rolling hills. Mountain View, a precious abbey directly across the street, and a beautiful look out view right up the road. Location was quiet, but still close to town and the Ring of Kerry.

A fabulous place to stay and explore the Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry, just outside Killarney. Every aspect of Killeen House is excellent and definitely a golden nugget for a west of Ireland stay, from room facilities, cleanliness, hospitality and the food is something else. Don’t spread the word too much I want to come back!

Hospitality as an art form!

Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Pretty setting with flower garden and delicious full breakfast. Never have I seen such a heaping serving of scrambled eggs in a large ball shape! The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Don’t miss going to see the view of the lakes on the hill above the hotel. Beautiful!
