"I loved the peaceful and quiet property. It was not as big and crowded as the other properties nearby. The pool bar was fine, but it could use a remodel to make it nicer to han the out at the bar. Some less expensive options on the menu would be nice. We went to other hotel bars for these reasons. Overall, it is a fantastic property that feels more personal than most resorts. "

"Room was clean, amenities were a plus; washer/dryer, large refrigerator, and stovetop. Grounds were well kept. Location was great! Portion of resort on the water, proximity to pool and beach was perfect! Up the street was a nice shopping center, shopping and eating options."

"I loved staying at HCR! I was staying in Kauai for 10 days, and decided to stay there for 3 days, and the other 7 elsewhere, but in hindsight I wished I had stayed at HCR for 7 and the other for 3. It's a really cool little property with condos next to a primo beach. Staff is super-friendly and helpful. The property is gorgeous. I love that it had a really good restaurant and coffee shop on premise, and then you're a short drive away from a picturesque little town where there are a lot more amenities. In your condo you get a full kitchen, nice bathroom, and if you are on the 2nd floor you get a great little porch. I found it so relaxing there, and would definitely stay there again next time I'm in Kauai."
