Got mobbed by mosquitoes at check in. Felt the resort was less luxury and more about seclusion. We were just expecting more from the pictures. Would not return. Staff were nice, as there was a storm and the resort lost power. Again the storm did clutter up most of the resort and pool with debris. Did not attend any events as the mosquitoes were present, pool and hot tub closed fairly early, and the bay view seemed to be more of a back water/swamp. Our room was directly under the dining room, and we were awoken each morning around 5:30am -6am to scraping chairs and tables. On a positive note, staff have adopted many cats, which is pretty cool. That might have been our favorite part.
