Villa Eleni located in Proastio, a beautiful village in the foothills just above Kardamili.

Villa Eleni began as a simple farmstead. It has been part of our family for many generations. When we inherited the property, we fell in love with the idea of refurbishing it and giving the place a new lease of energy.

Villa Eleni has now grown into a lovingly-reconstructed 3-bedroom house with an adjoining 2-bedroom cottage, available exclusively to friends, families and other special guests.

It’s a magical place. It offers unparalleled tranquility. Golden mornings. Playful butterflies. Ancient olive groves. Cerulean skies. Marvellous sunsets. Midnight stars. We hope you will enjoy staying here as much as we do.

Beautiful Villa in Mani
This is a beautiful villa located in the village of Proastio near Kardamyli. It’s a great comfortable base for exploring the Mani region but you need a car. A car is a MUST. It can be a little tricky to get to but once you’re used to it it’s no problem . The swimming pool was a great amenity that my 2 teenagers enjoyed. Wrap around balcony and covered deck to enjoy an outdoor dinner. Breathtaking views of the sea and the mountains. The sunsets are amazing. I booked this place for a week and I wish I would have booked it for 2 ! Villa is located within a short driving distance of 10-15 minutes from local supermarkets and great beaches and taverns and restos. Beaches like Kalogria, Foneas, Ritsa. You can explore further away beaches like Oitylo, as well. Depends on you. Mani isn’t like your typical 5 star resort. It’s rugged, rocky , with uphills and downhills and it’s not for everyone! Do your research! The villa came equipped with everything you might need for cooking breakfast, lunch or dinner. The A/C wasn’t super cold , but ok. At night it gets breezy so by opening windows with screens we were able to enjoy cool breezes at night allowing us to enjoy great sleep. The host Apostolos was a text message away to answer any questions we might have when we checked in. He is very polite and accommodating. He was flexible with the checkout process as well! Thank you Apostole! He also sent his pool maintenance technician mid week to check on the pool and fine tune it. Overall it was an excellent stay and I would definitely stay here again.

An absolute delight! We did not want to leave!
We loved this beautiful place. It was just perfect. Communication was easy as well as self check in. The house was so clean and cool. The pool was wonderful. We loved the surrounding village, friendly neighbours and all the animals around us. There were so many lovely spaces to sit and relax. The property felt so spacious - inside and out with beautiful views! The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were so comfortable. The beaches and local restaurants a short drive down the hill. We did not want to leave. Thank you! We hope to come again.

Nice experience in villa Eleni but not great
- nice pool with loungers; - lots of space; - nice view; - bedrooms in basement are cool with good airco but upstairs bedroom has many windows so gets warm in daytime and has old airco that does not function very well; - basic kitchen utensils, dining room lighting that is better for a dentist than illumination of a dinner, but going out for dinner means driving back 10 min up the hill and through really narrow rural pathways. There is no store or restaurant in the village Proastio. - when we would come to the region again, we would not rent the same villa again.

Wonderful holidays in the Peloponnese!
Large spacious house in the Greek style! It is located in the small village of Proastio. This is a real Greek village: goats, sheep, roosters, horses. The kids really enjoyed it. Beach in 5-10 minutes. drive. There are few people on the beach, beautiful bays. Supermarket in 10 minutes. drive where you can buy all the products. Nearby there is the city of Kardamyli, with restaurants, shops where you can walk. A very friendly host with his family. We advise everyone!

Enjoyable holiday
spent a very enjoyable 2 weeks in this property, which was very spacious. House is located on the edge of a quiet village , part way up a mountain, car necessary. SOme noise at night from local dogs barking and the cockerel, though that is minor point. Well equipped kitchen, though kitchen itself limited work surface area. enjoyed having meals on the balcony and watching the sunsets. lovely swimming pool, which was kept clean and sun loungers. About 3 miles from Stoupa and Kardamili where there were nice beaches and tavernas. Did a morning at a local ceramic class, which was fun and also did paddle boarding. APostolos kept in regular contact by email through out our stay to ensure everything was ok and visited once.

Lovely villa,very private and secure, great views, lots of wildlife around,
A perfect villa for families with grown up children as its secluded and high standard. Bit of a challenge to get to but you're rewarded with beautiful views. Would benefit from a local taverna! Being a couple of hundred metres up the hillside the night time temperatures were mostly perfect for sleeping. The towns nearby are beautiful and have loads of bars and restaurants, and there are nice beaches nearby which aren't too busy. We loved hearing the local goat crew ambling past several times a day. There are plenty of attractions and activities within a one hour drive of the villa. Its very private and secure, great views, lots of wildlife around, big garden, nice well kept pool, house generally well kept, very comfy beds, lots of outside area for seating, local village is very Greek, Stoupa and Kardamyli both close by and lovely.
