The Legoland Malaysia Resort is great for those travelling with young children (under 10). Lots of fun activities for kids in the lobby and close to the Water Park, Theme Park and SeaLife Aquarium. These parks are also aimed at those with young families, no real thrill rides.
Check-in was smooth and our children loved the disco elevators and the treasure hunt in our room where they had to crack the code to the safe to find a lego set each for them to make. The theming in the room (Adventure Themed room) was also great.
The hotel itself is looking a bit tired (though the outside was in the process of being repainted while we were there, which is definitely needed) and there was a musty smell on our floor when you got off the elevators which was quite unpleasant (Level 6), but thankfully this didn't extend to inside our room.
We ate dinner at the Italian restaurant one night and the service and food was excellent. Would definitely recommend eating here. Buffet breakfast at Bricks was included in our stay, but opted to eat elswhere after the first day as the food was average and the atmosphere was lacking. We didn't like having to choose a set breakfast time and then when we arrived being told that we had 45 minutes to eat, felt very rushed. We also didn't enjoy having to stand in lines to get our food and the food was so spread out and not grouped together well. Had to wait in multiple lines to get one plate of food, which was then cold by the time I sat down to eat.
