The apartment is gorgeous. I stayed at both the main hotel and this apartment at the resort and have to say that I prefer this one. The staff is also amazing!

Terrible communication with management. Started off with miscommunication between shuttle service and management - ended up waiting at airport over an hour, and driver had been there over 2 hours since he was not informed we came in on domestic flight. Difficult to get services needed throughout stay, but individual staff went above and beyond to accommodate us,while other times, never got a response or resolution. Expedia is to blame for much of the communication issue - it would have been easier to have direct contact with property management than go through the Expedia platform. Never had this issue with the other web services.

The unit is large. Negative thing was that there is no swimming pool on site. You will need to take the buggy to another building which was very inconvenient. The managment also gave us only one key card (there were 3 of us) for this 3 bedroom unit. we asked for the additional one but only to be told there were only 2 cards and the service people need one to come in for cleaning and etc. My daughter was coming in and out at different times and it was very very inconvenient to be there to open the door for her.

This property is in the middle of nowhere! We were the only residents and the place felt like a ghost town, lacking in atmosphere with several buildings around not completed and left to rot away! if you want loneliness then this is the place to stay. The apartment itself was very nice, spacious and clean. When we booked, the impression was it was part of the Ayana hotel and we could use the pool etc there. One of the first things we were told was that we could not use any of the pools and could only go there to have meals at the restaurants if we were prepared to pay through the roof!- Access to the beach was 200,000 rps per person!!! I would not stay here again or recommend this place to anybody.

amazing stay for couples.
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for one night to be close to Uluwatu and the airport. I really enjoyed the residence so much that we ended up staying in and watching a movie. There are 2 bathrooms, refrigerator, 2 televisions, and other amenities in the residence. You will get a ride service to the main restaurant/rock bar area. Service is excellent 10/10. The room is exceptional. It is a hidden gem. I will definitely stay here again.

It had 3 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a private pool. But housekeeping was not very clean. They have to be instructed exactly what to clean. Towels need to be replaced.

Unexpectedly wonderful
Stay was wonderful. You can use the pool at rimba not ayana - better with kids anyways. Rooms are spacious, very user friendly with kids. Buggy is great as the lines for shuttle at ayana and rimba can be long. Mix up with rooms - so we got upgraded to a bigger room and free transfers. Cot and high chair made looking after baby a breeze. Used restaurants etc in main complex and priority access to rock bar was magic!

Best property in Bali
Absolutely loved the property, the staff was extremely warm, welcoming and helpful. We were there for a birthday celebration and they surely made it special. Surrounded by greenery all around, very well maintained and one of my favourite hotel properties in the world. Would definitely recommend.

Not very clean overall. has got a stain on the sheet , Some lights not working, some of them very dark, laundry dirty and messy. Poor breakfast ( consider the price) . Pool not very clean either.

* It was beautiful. * Checked In around 7 PM. It was kind of dark in the Lobby. We wanted to look around the lobby, the gym, the pool; so we asked many times for the employee to turn on the lights, but he refused. So we had to use our cell phone flash lights to give us some lights when we stepped on the stairs so we on not fall down. * The swimming pools were dirty. * The hot breakfast that we ordered were served cold in our apartment. * Very different standard compared with the Ayana Resort & Spa's service. * We have to pay to use Ayana Resort's swimming pools.

Service was excellent - very professional staff. Breakfast was delivered to our doorstep and professionally set up in the apartment. Apartment was peaceful and quiet and came with an ocean view. Huge bathroom was a delightful surprise. Free buggy rides around the resort and to the famous Rock Bar. Excellent place to spend an unforgettable night

Fantastic huge apartment.
We had an fantastic penthouse apartment with a very good size infinity pool on the roof. The apartment was huge, even had a baby grand piano in the dining room! We had breakfast brought to us every morning but it wasn’t the best to be honest. Evening room service food was nice. Be aware that you are not allowed to use the pools in Ayana Resort or Rimba without paying and some not at all. There is a communal lagoon pool at the Residences but it was closed while we were there and it’s a bit of a soulless place. There is a gym there too. There is a free buggy service to get you around to the Ayana Resort and Rimba which works well. We had family in the Rimba and the Ayana Villas (Amazing!) while we were there so got to see the whole resort, personally I’d stay at one of those as the Residences literally are just people’s apartments with nothing else there. The restaurants are all at the other places but it’s only 5 mins on a buggy. All in all, would I recommend the Residences? Yes for great comfort and peace and quiet with the restaurants 5 mins away. If you have a family and want a more lively area with kids slides etc and want to be able to have drinks and lunch around the pool then I think the Villas or Rimba would be better.

Ayana hotel has 3 separate section- Ayana resort, Ayana Rimba and Ayana Private Resident. We stayed at the private resident for 5 nights but despite paying about $750 more than Ayana Rimba, we were denied access of using Rimba pool and Ayana pool. Each time to use it they'll charge us 200,000 IDR which is equivalent about $20 AUD pp. What a joke! Facilities within the Ayana Private resident were outdated and old, one of the night the light from the bathroom ceiling fell by itself! Honestly not worth the price, go with the Ayana hotels and you'll get a much better value and service from it.

What a stay this was I am travelling with my wife and my 2.5 yr old daughter . We have stayed at Ayana before but the previous stay was at the resort . Due to my daughter being this young we needed an apartment to stay in And we found Ayana residences . We have booked an penthouse suite with roof top pool . The property is just amazing . So well kept . So huge and massive . What I loved the most apart from the property being so well managed and kept up to date was the service provided by the fine people working here . The hospitality is just top notch . We were given amazing American breakfast everyday in our apartments cooked by our personal chef at the time preferable to us. We were even given a complimentary dinner organised by the owner ( ari) an Indonesian dinner for 2 at our apartment. What was even more amazing is we are pure vegetarian so we don’t eat any fish/chicken/beef/pork/egg . So all our breakfast and our dinner was cooked to our requirements (pure veg ) . The people go out of their way to provide you with all the possible services to make your stay comfortable. This place is highly highly recommended, especially if you want to stay in a resort and yet want your privacy , and specially if you have children with you . Please do not think twice and just go ahead and book your stay here now , you won’t regret it

The Ayana resorts is amazing. Definitely visit rock bar and kubu beach. Love that we got to access all the Ayana resorts facilities as well. The condo was okay, could be cleaner as there were bugs. However the roof top private infinity pool was amazing

Have to come back for another review. After 3nights in here, we chose to leave for another hotel for 3 nights wanting to experience more of the island. The second one is terrible. After two nights of stay there, we decide to give up the third night and come back to ayana as we don't want the holiday ends there. We booked a penthouse for a bit more money but it worth every single dollar. To apartment is high with a private Swimming egdeless pool on the roof. We had a very good stay here. Thank you all ayana.

The bed was super comfy. The amenities in the room were fantastic.The choice of restaurants were fabulous Rock Bar was sensational. Staffs and manager very friendly. Breakfast yummy. The beach very nice. The property overall was beautiful . The sea water spa Aquatonic was absolutely brilliant... WE LOVE IT!!

Annoying place far away from the real Bali
No mobile phone reception in the rooms – and that was confirmed to me by the cleaning staff who are there everyday. Annoying. This place is in a terrible location. It is far from everything you would want to see in Bali. Self contained unit without a microwave. Annoying. No tea towels – if you wet your hands in the sink there is no way to dry them. Annoying! The front door had signs of forced entry. See photos. Large spiderweb in dressing room ceiling. Slow Room Service. I asked if I should put the tray outside when finished – “No just leave them piled up in the sink and the cleaners will deal with it tomorrow”. Lazy and annoying. In-room breakfast served by two butlers (the cleaners actually). The food is so basic that you actually wish they won’t turn up again. If you are really unlucky you get the 2 slices of processed chicken meat that is cooked till its unidentifable – I had to ask them. The bath tub is very high. It was very dangerous to use and there are no safety handles. I would not recommend it for small children or elderly people. The tile floors are also very slippery when wet. The Residences pool was poorly maintained. One section of the pool area had timber decking that was so badly warping that I could only image how badly your children could rip their feet if they were running on it. Only one room key is provided. Why? Annoying. You can’t simply put thing like Room Service on the Room account – you always have to pay as you go. Annoying. No info book in room.

아야나리조트는 뮤리아리조트보다 못하다. 하지만 아야나 레지던스는 훌륭하다. 개방감 높은 풀빌라. 문제는 도보로 걸어다닐곳이 없다. 이곳에 머무는 사람들은 풀빌라와 고요함의 휴식을 즐기고. 주변에있는 발레리안hub의 이벤트를 반듯이 즐겨라.

インドネシアに慣れた長期滞在者におすすめ
両親、弟と私たち夫婦の5人で2日間宿泊しました。広い部屋に滞在したいと考え選びました。ホテルではなく、賃貸アパートの部屋に泊まるという形態です。 部屋は笑ってしまうぐらい広くて、清潔です。インドネシアで問題になりがちなお湯も問題無く、バスタブに貯めてゆっくり出来ました。 敷地内アヤナ系列ホテルへのアクセスはバギーをフロントに頼んで移動します。すぐ来てくれるし、無料なので良かったです。レストランやスーパーははちょっと歩いて行ける距離には無いので、そこはタクシーになります。 2週間以上の長期滞在者向け宿泊施設だと感じました。部屋にはWi-Fiがありますが、ドアの外からエントランスまでは電波がほとんど通じません。 場所もまだあまり知られていないようで、インドネシアに住んでいない観光者はアパートへ辿り着くのに一苦労するかもしれません。色々な場所へ観光する人にはアクセスが不向きかと思います。 ただし、繁華街のような騒音は無く、静かです。グッスリ睡眠も取れました。 私たちの目的に沿っていましたので、満足です。

Appartment hat super Ausstattung, ist sehr geräumig und war sehr sauber. Die Auflagen am Rooftoppool waren defekt und dreckig. Negativ: Man ist im Ayana Resort und kann nichts nutzen außer sein Appartment. Nicht mal zum Strand (Kubu beach) kann man, kostet für 4 köpfige Familie 50€. Man darf die Poolanlagen im Ayana und Rimba nicht benutzen. Die Poolanlage der Appartmentanlage war oft gesperrt und wenn offen, konnte man nur einen Pool nutzen, der eine Tiefe von 110cm hatte. Das Gelände der Apartmentanlage ist sehr verweist, sowie die Poolanlage. Es ist kein Mensch da, man wird komisch angesehen, wenn man die Poolanalge betritt. (von den Gärtnern oder wer sonst da rumgelaufen ist) Es ist alles außer Betrieb, keine Liegen oder Sonnenschirme. Die Appartmentanlage ist zwar auf dem Gelände des Ayana Resorts, aber völlig abgekapselt, so kommt man sich auch vor. Es ist kein Anprechpartner da, nur Kontakt über whatsapp (leidlich), man trifft nur die Mitarbeiter, die einen das Frühstück bringen. Shuttle um irgendwo hinzukommen hat auch nie geklappt. Unser Appartment war das Einzige in Betrieb in einem 4. stöckigen Haus. Rechts und links davon alles dicht und leerstehend. Außenanlage nicht sehr schön,stinkender Teich. Frühstück wahlweise amerikanisch (Ei, Würstchen, Toast, Marmelade, Kaffee, Speck) oder indonesich (Reis oder Nudelgericht) oder Pancake und dazu Saft. Frühstück war sehr eintönig.

房間裝修設備都不錯，可是水壺很髒，被子跟床單更髒，勉強睡了一晚，第二天要求更換，晚上7點回去還沒有換，追問負責人，本來說已經換了，後來又說床單拿去洗了，8點送回來給我們換，酒店很安靜，露台景色很好，可以有些事情沒有交代清楚，像出門坐Buggy的安排，什麼的都要WhatsApp練習職員才可以，就是如果什麼都列清楚了會更好。
