Kent Hotel: good location
Good location, easy walking distance to the grand bizarre, restaurants and Turkish bath. Front desk service was good, but service in the lounge was not good. Not sure if the lounge staff were just apathetic or something was happening we were unaware of.

I tried to bring a guess to my room they said you can’t have a guess I don’t understand that? I told the front desk I will pay for extra person he said no. Property is old there is no indoor pool and sauna or other things that’s why I didn’t enjoy staying there I don’t recommend this hotel because there is other hotels you pay some price you will get swimming pool and sauna and everything that’s why I don’t recommend this hotel.

Before booking a hotel, you look at its visuals. In the photo images you can see all the open and closed areas of the hotel. How true is a bad hotel review that there is no swimming pool or sauna in the hotel.

I have been to many hotels in Istanbul over the years; Kent Hotel is the best, and I recommend it to anyone for a very pleasant stay with very helpful and friendly staff and excellent services.

Location location location
This trip was booked due to its location. Right outside the tram and 5 mins walk to the Metro. Although it is an hour away from the airport. Hotel looked very nice and were checked in around 2pm. Good view of the outside street but can get loud during NYE! The room was a good size compared to most other hotels in area. Free breakfast was good but got busy a couple of mornings. PCR test service provided at hotel was very convenient.

Great staff very accommodating and friendly. Housekeeping was excellent. The bar staff was too good. I would definitely recommend this place in a heartbeat. Very convenient and in the center of everything. Close to all the historical sites, metro station across the hotel was very helpful especially with traffic jams. One improvement if I can recommend is having a person outside monitoring the outdoor cafe as it’s very popular and sometimes there’s waiting involved. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend this hotel. Thanks.

I have been staying many times at the Kent hotel . I keep on coming back as it’s the best in this area . What made our stay perfect in all aspects , is the manager Mr Huseyin . Very professional and so helpful, always ready to make us happy .The location is the best , rooms are big and spacious, breakfast very satisfying . Very reasonable rates .Parking available and cheap . Kent hotel old city is the place to stay in when visiting this charming and vibrating city .Thanks again to all the staff and of course Mr Hayal .
