This was a lovely place to stay, they couldn't do enough for you, very friendly & helpful, I needed 2 rooms where there wasn't to much walking to get to, due to both parties having breathing difficulties, they were so very helpful & replied telling me we have both rooms on the ground floor & would be able to have our breakfast brought to us on the same floor, you wouldn't get that else where, just a nice clean lovely place to stay, the food was lovely evening meal & then breakfast, we all said we would like to go back & stay longer, sadly this wasn't a holiday stay this time, here for a family funeral memorial, looking forward to coming back next year in the warmer weather 10/10 Thank you all

Lovely clean, well situated, friendly hotel
The hotel is spotlessly clean. Also, hand sanitisers were placed at several points around the hotel. We only had an overnight stay, so our fairly small room was perfectly adequate - there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We might ask for a larger room if we were staying for longer. The hotel is a lovely friendly place to stay. It's very best points are its location and the - overlooking the sea, lovely walks nearby and a 1 minute walk to the lift down to the beach. Also, the food at the hotel is excellent - we had a delicious, reasonably priced dinner there. We saw that there was car parking, but if you arrive by public transport, the bus station is only a 10 minute walk.

Gem of a Hotel, Dog Friendly, Value for Money
Gem of a hotel! Positioned right above Shanklin Beach, wirh either a 10 minute walk (which i did everyday with my dog), or there's a lift literally a minute away, going straight down to the beach. The staff were fantaatic, really friendly, and couldnt do enough for you... sure, the hotel itself is a little dated, bur it's obviously been decorated, but coylddo with a much bigger makeover, but these thibgs cost a lot of money, and it's kept lovely and clean. My reason for booking was because they take dogs, and I was bring mine with me. I took a single room, which had its own shower room and toilet, and whilst it wasn't particularly big, it was clean, functional and had everything I needed.

Really enjoyable stay with very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. Only criticism is that it was difficult to get hot water in the bathroom.
