Some Highlights: Very clean rooms, great hammocks on the porches, the eco-toilet does not smell at all, very friendly groundskeeper, sufficient in-room lighting. Some Items That Could Improve: The rooms do not have a dresser - we had to keep the suitcases open on the floor rather than unpack, the breakfast was minimal continental, the pool did not seem to be kept up very well (murky water) and was not inviting overall, the internet access computer had missing keys, the beach seating felt neglected... All in all, it was a fine stay, but it wasn't teriffic. With many little details overlooked, the hotel felt like it was someone's side project rather than main focus. We ended up eating at Mawimbe quite often and will likely stay there next time for the good food, convenient location, inviting beach seating, and friendly staff.
