No breakfast vouchers for children
Although we had booked a Deluxe room for two adults and two children (ages 7 and 9), no breakfast vouchers were provided for the children. We had to pay and an extra 12,000 yen per child per day for breakfast.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with 3 minutes walking distance from train station. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly as well as the staff at the breakfast venue. The hotel was extremely outdated and some condition was appalling. It was hard to imagine the room has no USB outlet. The restaurent seemed seriously short of staff. The breakfast venue was similar to a canteen instead of a 4/5 star hotel.

The best thing of this hotel is the location. It locates besides the Kanazawa station which offer very good and convenient transportation to visitors. But the facilities are relatively old. No USB was available which is one of the standard setting in hotel rooms for charging mobile device. Washroom facilities are also old.

Cigarette smoke in the three different rooms.
Had to use three different rooms because of cigarette smoke ingress. I eventually sealed the bathroom vent up and that solved our problem. Kept telling staff where the smoke was coming from. They really didn’t want to hear about it.. asked if anyone else complained about the smoke he said no. Reading different reviews on the hotel there were smoke related issues. Breakfast was very good and staff Overall we’re good. The hotel seemed a little old. Because of the smoke issue, I would not stay there again. I was on the 16th floor facing front or the street.

Location fantastic but room not so good. Carpet had stains and air conditioning very loud. Also bathroom rather dated. Supposedly I booked a premium room but didn’t feel it was worth the money. Generally disappointed.

The room was nice and clean. Good Breakfast buffet. Staffs are very kind. A bit disappointment when checked in because the hotel was too crowded with guests at the lobby.

The Crowne Plaza is located next to the Kanazawa JR Station. As with othyer JR Stations, it's a hub of activity (transit center, shopping arcade, food options, etc). The property is relatively new and the rooms reflect that. The staff are helpful and my stay was enjoyable. I will return to Kanazawa and would stay at the Crowne Plaza.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room the we stayed are big enough for 4 family. I wish they have an onsen but overall its an excellent hotel with amazing food.

The hotel is right outside of the Kanazawa Station. Perfect location. It is a fancier hotel so if you are willing to pay a little more per night, this would be the hotel to stay at. Breakfast buffet is really good which also included an omelette station.
