"I have a wonderful testimony of my stay at Stoney Creek in Des Moines, Iowa. I did a dumb thing and decided I was going to put my wallet under the mattress while I went down to sit in the hot tub and then totally forgot to get it when I left the next morning. I stopped 25 miles out of Kansas City to get gas and I freaked when I realized what I had done. Called the Hotel and spoke to the manager and he went up and found it and had it sent to my home! I can't remember his name but I am soooooo grateful. Thankfully a police officer filled up my tank and got me home. Stoney Creek Hotel in Des Moines is always my place to stay when I travel north to Minneapolis/Wisconsin!!!! Deb Carlson"
