What a jewel this hotel is! It’s location is right in the heart of the city on a the beautiful river, Ness. The cathedral is a 3 minute walk and the shopping area with bars and restaurants is the same. Our room was beyond expectations and the food excellent.

On arrival greeted with uninterested staff members. Carpets throughout hallway all.ripped and torn. Marks all over the walls throughout. Room wasnt great t.v was hels up by a book as ut was missing peg. Very small aswell for being about 20 foot away from.bed. shower was terrible lukewarm water at best with hardly any pressure. It was fitted far too close the wall which it difficult to use correctly. Genuinely our staff was poor and wouldn't return. There are much cheaper hotels much better run and equipped

Nice hotel and nice staff,Housekeeping a little let down towels left on bathroom floor as instructed to be replaced were uplifted but not replaced. Emptied bucket but left empty plastic bottle sitting next to bin.

The Hotel was easy to find , it’s located in the perfect location. However, my single room was not . It was very dusty ineficientes they dealt with as soon it was brought to their attention. The bathtub was not clean properly and there were cobwebs in the bathroom and in the room . Didn’t have the best view , a brick wall and the dustbins. The breakfast was plenty full, a buffet and dinner was great .

Excellent location for anything central. Staff are always superbly friendly and helpful. Convenient & efficient check ins/outs. Great functional rooms with high cleanliness standards that are great for short stays and very affordable. Wifi is good. Can't complain, I use this place a lot and it has never disappointed

Nao recomendo!
Heating was not enougth . Very dirty hotel. Service from reception amator. The only thing good is the place and the restaurants walking distance. Sleep with cold sensation its terrible! Never more!

Very professional and friendly staff at the hotel but we found the menu didn't cater to well for children as we had planned to have a family meal but it wasn't to be so we had a meal at hotel and our family and grandkids ate elsewhere

Great location. My room was dated and showing signs of wear and tear. Price of room and breakfast was excellent. It did feel that I was put in the cheap room though. No parking was an issue. I had to get up early to move car and park further away from hotel.

Friendly receptionist..room spotlessly clean and the beds comfy. We decided to have breakfast in the morning but after waiting almost 30 mins for chef to replenish the buffet we decided to leave and get breakfast elsewhere

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Reception comfortable. Room clean and comfy. The breakfast could have been a little hotter but overall an enjoyable stay. Great location for Xmas shopping.

Worse hotel ever
Room was freezing 1st night took a full day and night to get heat in the room , cancelled all my food as service was terrible and only hot part refund on food costs , staff and management ride and don’t care about you or the service they don’t provide . Absolutely the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in and should be avoided at all cost , trust me spend a wee bit more and use best western next door

clean & warm hotel with nice staff
our stay was perfect apart from 1 thing & that was the service at breakfast. everything looked nice but items were either luke warm or cold & it was a shame as it was good quality items. the 1st morning the staff which were nice by the way brough out tea & coffee pots to table which was good but next morning they had large tea pots & coffee pots for us to go down with our cups & saucers to help ourselves. the coffee was find but tea pots had i think only 2 teabags in them so it was so weak so a couple of us stirred in pot but no really much difference so i said to 1 of the staff so it was replaced. because on 1st morning the breakfast items weren't hot i asked if shef would make 4 boiled eggs for us on our 2nd morning but girl came back & said was told didn't do boiled eggs but could do poached but because we dont like poached i refused so we ended up with luke warm or cold fried items again. so we would stay again as everything else was good & the staff were lovely but we Definitely wouldn't pay extra for breakfast while at the checkout online.

We had a great stay at the Columba hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the property has a great traditional feel perfect for the town.

The breakfast was fantastic and the room was very nice. Clean and plenty of room. Only 3 pillows though which was odd. The biggest issue came with the noise, specifically the music. Everyday between 10 and 12 in the morning and then around 9 to 11pm what can only be described as club style dance music would literally reverberate through our room. This seemed to coincide with the end of breakfast and dinner service.. Now I'm be no means against music playing if there's a do or a party on but this was utterly ridiculous. It would seriously make consider not stopping there again
